I always find that it never rains, but it often pours. Then there's a complete drought. ;)

Yeah saw it the other day. Good film! Joseph Gordon-Levitt looked weird in it though.

Is Looper as good as Timecrimes? Which I thought was a really clever film, more so when considering the budget that it was made on.

You are right sir, it takes a few viewings to make something of it. Basically the theory is, he is making duplicate versions of himself by travelling back in time. By trying to replicate what he remembers. he actually creates the paradox.

Guess what, they are making an English language remake I think.

None of these are ever as good as the foreign originals.

Ring, Girl with the Dragon tattoo and the downright awful, Dinner for Schmuks (Le Dîner de Cons) spring to mind.

If you have never seen Le Dîner de Cons (a very rude word), it is one of the best examples of French comedy I've seen in a long while.

Haven't seen him since his anti-German tirade got him banned. I'm bored of him now anyway. His bullshitting about his successes with "fit birds" stopped being funny, and his constant anti-EU bollocks was just annoying. I don't miss getting PMs every night at 2am either.

He had an anti-German tirade? That sounds great! I enjoyed his occasional descent-into-madness posts, like that night he tried to convince us all that our lives are manipulated by the Illuminati.

Yeah you missed a good one. Dozens were ripping into him for it. He was trying to make out that Germans are awful people and that the EU is crap because of them (despite the fact that they've bailed out multiple members, including Portugal!) and he was actually using WW2 as reasoning for them being awful people and untrustworthy. He then went on to attempting to argue that Portugal, Spain and Italy are "better" than Germany, and I had quite a lot of fun throwing facts at him that prove otherwise. Then he somehow got back onto the subject of America being the best country in the world because of its "amazing military". After a while his silly right-wing views stopped being funny and started being slightly worrying.

The Illuminati one is probably the best material he gave us, along with the whole 9/11 conspiracy. I enjoyed trying to get "sex tips" out of him as well though.

Haha yep certainly makes sense. I think my most recent Banana episode was where he was trying to convince us all about how amazing the army was and everything it does is justified etc. He does have some very entertaining moments.

I don't think I ever got as much out of him as Dan did (this was mainly via PMs), but he used to talk about how he would get girls drunk and invite them over to swim in his pool, and apparently once he got them there, the rest was a piece of cake. He also mentioned that he didn't like to drink, so I quickly pointed out that he was technically raping them if they were drunk and he wasn't. He then swiftly changed the subject.

I was always amused by his obsession with "grinding".
