By out qualifying him, Hulk got a gearbox penalty even before Q3.

Im thinking along the lines of Spa when Red Bull and McLaren made the 1 stop work, poor old Mark will get put on a 3 stop though :D

Be very interesting how RBR go about the race tomorrow, I don't expect team orders to the degree Seb wins no matter what, but Mark might be instructed to back off and let Seb win to close the gap to Alonso, Webber is 62 points behind anyway so it's unlikely he could win the WDC that far back.

RBR's first front row lockout of the year, I dont think they will want to **** this up by having both cars try to take each other out.

I expect, clean launches, Mark allows Seb to pull a gap of about 5-6 seconds and then Mark starts to pick up the pace in his own clean air and leaves Kamui and Grosjean behind him. Seb and Mark then watch the tyres all the way until the end while a **** storm is behind them.

I reckon a good race is on the cards here, just not for 1st and 2nd, excluding safety cars of course.

I don't think Mark will be anywhere near Seb; Seb's been quicker all weekend, he manages a race better and he'll have preference at the pitstops. Unless Webber gets him into turn 1 there won't be a race between them. I'd be disappointed if Red Bull used team orders, Mark wouldn't yield anyway so they might as well let them race.

I hope Kobayashi can get his first podium on home soil.

With regards to Vettel and Webber…

In my opinion, SilverArrow is bang on the money about number 1 being handed every ace possible tomorrow. To put it mildly: Mateschitz, Horner et al will not be being encouraging Webber to take the fight to Vettel.

If Webber passes him into Turn 1, it will be simply because of Vettel having a real problem (which I do not expect).

Knowing Mark won't yield, they'll manage the positions through the stops.

He is slower than Vettel anyway, so if Seb can pull out at the start, he is sorted.

Off to bed, see you guys at around 5.
    Night.

I asked Vettel about beating Clark's 33 poles: "He passed away while he was still racing and had he carried on, he still would be ahead"

Seb respects and knows the all time greats value in the fields they were in.

More than that as it did have a lot of new upgrades, wing, nose, floor, gurney flap, something beside the rear tyres etc...

DRS isn't "just" what people have to worry about!

Brundle looked gob smacked with Sebs pole lap regardless.
