Have I not a point ? I called the situation pathetic Wubba I respect people have opinions and this post doesn't make me right . I have directly challenged posters here who want to disrupt something that is growing and I feel equally strong that you people are wrong . I sincerely think we will be fine and completely fed up with the stupid reactions on here. It's this easy ... I believe he will stay and when the corner turns where are you all going to hide . It does not show support and it exposes many on here of being what I term fickle.
That's so spot on WBA. Dave........all you do is insult genuine QPR fans like wubba who goes to nearly all away games and season ticket holders like myself. We spend our hard earned cash on the club and are therefore entitled to our opinion! You're obviously no idiot, so I can only conclude that you're simply winding people up in the same way that Swords used to. The title of your OP is "wisdom" and you like to pretend that you have more of it than any of us. In fact, you're simply burying your head in the sand. We have never been above 17th place in all the time Hughes has been with us and he hasn't managed one, solitary away win. He has attracted some very good players to the club, mainly due to his reputation within the game as a top player. He and his agent have very good contacts. Problem is, he continues to make the same mistakes over and over again. He is wrong for us and you should stop insulting loyal QPR fans and instead, wake up and smell the coffee mate.
Pathetic? Infected? And I should mind my language... Instead of Hughes? Thanks to a poster upthread we have this list: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/qpr-specials/next-permanent-manager No to Capello as he's Hughes in Italian and No to Laudrup but Martinez would be perfect or Harry until the end of the season.
I agree. We've got to accept the results are what they are after 7 matches. I am also confident that we will turn the corner and that it's too hasty to make rash decisions.
Definition of a Mickey Mouse club? One that sacks it's manager after 7 games. All right, something has to click, and its frustrating waiting for it to happen when we can see the quality and potential in the team. Hughes is going nowhere, he built this squad, he has to deliver the results with it.
I am NOT reactive, I am PRO active. I thought Hughes was a **** appointment when he joined us and I stand by that.
Does this mean you don't fancy Martinez, Solskjaer or Harry? Or have you put me on your ignore list?!
Dave I've reluctantly rated this thread 1 star as you are capable of so much more and I think this thread is designed to generate and prolong friction when it's not needed I know you once played keepy uppy with Lawrie Sanchez in 1983 and I know you're passionate about our club but caution is the watchword here Hughes has a poor record and people are entitled to express their unhappiness at this Calling them pathetic or deluded and that we'll all hide f we do win is very condescending I expect that on the Norwich board but not here and not from you Christ if we do ever win I'll Be the first to cheer
It's not a sacking after 7 games, it's a sacking after 9 months and what last week was our worst start of all time.
7 games SB? It's 26 someone said, certainly around that. He was 17th when he came, spent Millions and don't think we been higher than 17th. Now we are bottom. He has not delivered over plenty long enough. Hughes should go Now.
I get your point.........BUT........relegation is simply not an option. Not when you consider that the TV money is trebling next season. TF will not wait much longer imo. How long do you give Hughes?
Dave is sitting back now, laughing his bollocks off. All a wind up to him. Notice how he never answers any questions.........just continues to stir the pot!
Col I mean no offence believe me recently reading the rubbish on here I have done but this time I pose the question sincerely Wisdom to those you have racked up a ton of moans and comments . I rest knowing now that you and others want Hughes out that's your view I hope he turns this as I expect some on here will not show their faces I directly also challenge your remarks re fans. I do not have a season ticket this year as I know I won't be in London enough this year or next. I deserve my holidays I feel I am hoping that Wubba doesn't guage my support in the crass manner you have ... I hope you understand that my history as a totally committed QPR who has racked up years of games bears no more credit than a fan that doesn't or can't watch us play.
You mean the same way you did? Additionally, I DID answer your question re: manager and squad. You haven't answered mine re: fickle.
You are directly fickle ... If of course you posted before MH purchased all these great players excuse me please But you are fickle you are just jumping on the bad wagon ... You expect results and nothing but ... You have no idea how hard this team is trying to gel and I haven't read many posts from you that don't slag off something you have no other viewpoint on how to fix it. Fickle fans want success now and haven't taken stock of how quickly we as a club are attempting to grow. It's ambitious and over a period of time I have read nothing from you that offers me another idea ... I stand that you are fickle it's my opinion of you and until you post something creative or worthwhile then I can't change my mind there sorry
Dave, You have been consistent for some weeks in stating your belief that Hughes is building something special at QPR. But in doing so, and in my opinion at least, you have also been pretty aggressive and used unnecessarily colourful language whilst seeking to belittle the opinions and footballing knowledge of others. You are perhaps the greatest advocate for free speech on this board, but the only free speech you seem to treat with any degree of respect appears to be your own. Some of your comments are impenetrable. Like Swords, you seem to have become a parody of your former self. I very much hope that your belief in Hughes is found to be 100 per cent correct. I would be delighted to eat humble pie and admit that I was wrong should we start seeing a winning run and a surge up the league table. But, pray tell, how long in your opinion must we wait for this? What is a reasonable time frame within which to suffer defeat upon miserable defeat before it is appropriate to expect this improvement? And when, do tell, is it apposite to want to see him dismissed for failure to deliver on his promises after the financial support that Fernandes has given?
More mumbo-jumbo Dave. You ARE insulting loyal fans and you know exactly what you're doing. Answer my question....will you admit you were wrong if things don't improve under Hughes?
