Fair point, but like everyone else, I am frustrated - but just hope everyone can keep some sort of realism in mind. I should have added 'a tad premature' after what i said. As I have said in many posts tonight, if by november things havent changed, then fine I couldnt argue at all.
Do you realise Paul Hart has a better record than Hughes? If you are chanting for a manager to leave after 5 games, why not do it for a manager who is worse and 26 PL games?
Its not a foregone conclusion that Hughes will relegate us. We have played 7 games!!!! what could relegate us is siinging negative songs and further damaging the players confidence which must already be low. We didnt last year, why do it now after just 7 games. We need to have some faith and give him until January.
Because we have better players, a decent owner who is in touch with the fans and because we have just undertaken a massive rebuilding of the squad. I am confident in TF to make the decision when the time is right. I wasnt with Flavio, hence the songs.
Your crazy. Hart was hired by a fruitcake (Briatore) who thought he knew football. He would have been a total disaster had he stayed. Hughes wheter you like it or not is a respected top flight manager. We need to stay united and keep the faith.
I know Hart was terrible and an awful appointment, Im just pointing out Hughes is worse. I never wanted him in the 1st place and hes done nothing to convince me otherwise.
I wouldn't agree with doing it, but I think it will happen if we're 2 down at home to Everton after SWP has started yet again.
I understand what you mean, I wasnt too keen on Hughes either, but thats what we've got and to sack amanager 7 games into a season after he's spent god knows how much would IMHO be potentially suicidal. I couldnt see any manager of repute coming anywhere near us. One things for sure though I dont envy TF's position. If he gets this wrong and we're relegated it'll cost him a bundle. I just want us to be a stable club.
MH is lucky to have the support of a guy who is clueless when it comes to football. For all his intentions, TF just isn't a 'football' chairman/owner. It's not like any business and requires a different set of skills, which I think TF is now realising.
