why are some people making a fuss about Bruno waving at Vergne? It's an impulsive reaction, some resort to it others don't-heat of the moment. Has nothing to do with arrogance imo

I'm clearly Senna's biggest fan ever
But he literally does it every single time he has someone near him. Someone yesterday in practice let him through and he was waving like that again and he wasnt even on a fast lap.
Yeah, fair enough if it's quali or the race and you're getting held up, but in practice when someone let's you through is a bit far.

Lol, fair enough, but I have always had the impression that you disliked him intensely :)

Yeah, i'm not his biggest fan ever. There was a "sarcastic smiley" on the end of that line, but it got lost.
He does come along very arrogant, but maybe its because i dont like him. <ok>

Is it me or can Hamilton not set a car up properly?, every time this year when he has made set up changes after practice his pace has been way off. Its kind of concerning considering that he is off to Mercedes where he will be dealing with a bad car (In all likelihood)

At least now I can watch the races just for the enjoyment seeing as both Lewis and Kimi's hopes of winning the WDC are over after today

In between this and Spa it's quite concerning... but then Button has had the same!

Yeah as a Jenson fan i have little sympathy for two very bad races with setup. Try 6 in a row!

Maybe this McLaren is difficult to get right.

A certain poster will be on soon telling us all that its a fix because Lewis is always 8 tenths quicker than Jenson!

I'm disappointed about the lack of penalties but also confident that Alonso will finish on the podium. The biggest problem is that once he's got past Grosjean and the Sauber's, Vettel and Webber could be too far ahead. If he can get to third quickly, I'm sure he can at lease stay with the Red Bulls. I say that because the hard tyre is usually the preferred race tyre, and in Q1 the lap times on that tyre were:

Vettel - 1:32:608 (better track conditions)
    Massa - 1:32.946 (lesser driver)

Red Bull were dominant on the soft tyre, but Webber might be beatable even on softs - in Q2 he was only 3 tenths ahead of Massa.

Kimi and Button should also be a constant problem for Alonso to stay ahead of as well. All 3 looked about equal in qualifying pace before the yellow flag and both should have really good race pace since their team mates in FP2 were right on the pace of the RB's

I also doubt Kamui or Grosjean will do any crazy driving since both careers are on the line. They should just be fighting for 3rd as both had good race pace so they would very stupid to risk those lovely points. Kamui needs them to save his career and Grosjean needs them to help get Lotus in front of Ferrari in the WCC.

I think Alonso will need to be upto 3rd very early on if heis to get a podium. If JB can make up a position and go a little bit longer I would hope to see him looking at a podium, however if he gets bogged down or falls behind Lewis (with his set up issues) I think he will be lucky to get 6th. I think Lewis is in for a long afternoon because he looked off the pace in all Quali!

Massa was quicker than Lotus and McLaren on the harder tyre in Q1. In Q2 Alonso was only a tenth behind McLaren and almost equal to Lotus. In Q3 Alonso would have easily outqualified Grosjean without the yellow flag, presumably close to Button's time.

    It's all good <cheers>

Seriously? Pirelli seem to think that a 1 stop is possible.

This, RBR might be one of those teams to 1 stop with the clean air they should get.

I think you're putting way too much faith in those Q1 times Forza. Vettel was probably cruising with the engine turned down, he did a faster lap on primes yesterday than Massa did in Q1, I think he could've dipped into the 31's if he'd gone for it in Q1.
