Dogs Bollocks is a good beer. I used to have one of their T-shirts which had a picture of one of their bottles and the logo

"now you can get your dogs bollocks in a bottle"

If you like a classic pale ale then Empire or Bengal Lancer are two of the best. Adnmas Broadside is good if you like a strong beer about 6.5% I think

Not really overly bothered about brand allegiance-mainly because you have to take what you get in different pubs, but I'm definitely bitter. None of your lager nonsense -except in Germany.

What's "Fall" by the way? Apart from what you do afterwards.

We'll get you there yet, Bluff.
Btw, when I saw the thread title I thought you were offering to buy us drinks for the rest of the season.
It's the only reason I looked.

Does that mean if we win it this year, or at any indeterminate time in the future?

If you want a real ale then try Marston's Owd Rodger (7.6 ABV). Hazy memories in the early 80's of playing Buzz in the Royal Standard in Beaconsfield (oldest free house in England) on jugs of the stuff!

For rums then it has to be either Angosturra 1824 or Mount Gay Extra Old on the rocks for a civilised way to slip into happy obscurity.

If you can get it here then try Forres Park Puncheon Rum. described on the bottle as "not less than 75%". But you may have to go to T&T to try it.

Adnams Broadside is always a good shout. I love a good Bishops Finger me <whistle> other than them I'd also highly recommend Abbot Ale or Old Bob (beers using the best Kentish hops always have a fab flavour) <ok> Proper man beer, none of that lager nonsense (unless its a fine pint of Grolsch mmmm).

Worryingly its 8am and I'm already thinking about beer...probably not a good sign that <laugh>

Sam Adams Pumpkin Ale, sounds dodgy but was really quite good and very smooth. Might have to go for round 2 tonight. <ok>
