It was really bad that time we first came up to the old First Division with Rodney and the Twins. But that was a very long time ago.

West Brom are a well organised team. We started atrociously; and the defensive four need to stand up and be counted - they should be focused on keeping things tight for the first 15 mins, and build from there. They didn't and put us in the difficult position. I still see the improvement in the team. We need more, but sacking the manager is still a ridiculous suggestion.
Granero gets the goal he deserves!!

Best players on the park have been ours. No excuse for Hughes.

We've been totally undone by 2 defensive errors. Firstly playing slow hill who cannot start for us and then Ferdinand cock up.

And that is the most worrying thing of all!! Do the players want to play for an idiot who keeps on making the same mistakes and expects a different outcome?

Bosingwa, sh*t. He should have scored that. Would have given us a well deserved point.

That summed Hughes up, 4 players outside the box with 15 seconds left. Negative twat.

Terrible effort by Bosingwa. Great chance wasted.

Hughes picks the team, so how can he be blameless? How can he get it right AFTER we are 2 goals down?

Exactly, undone by 2 silly errors attributable to left back position where our 3rd choice was playing.

Adel clear MOM. If he goes on playing like that, but Hughes keeps his job and keeps playing Park, SWP and 3 or 4 CB's, we'll lose Adel January and be relegated May or earlier.

Beaten by form team who have not conceded a goal at home (until today) and haven't dropped a point at home; I thought we put up a spirited display, particularly in the second half. Generally poor defensive play, but we never gave up. Great performance from Granero, Park looked good from the centre in the second half (still prefer Faurlin though). Can see why MH has concerns about Hoillet, but I would like to see him given a run in the team over SWP. Good to see Traore come in.
Hmmm.. Lot of positives in front of the defence - but it's that defence that is lacking (and needs a leader to run it - com on Nelsen, step up and run that back four)

"We played well in the second half gaffer, what about starting with that line up next time" (Mark Bowen)
" I think not Mark, I'm the Gaffer and I'lll start with that lot until they get it right. I'll be proved right in the end, you'll see".

And at that stage it'll be too late. I said I'd give him time but watching him make the same basic errors in judgement, week in, week out, is pushing it to breaking point. Is it that he's so arrogant he won't take any advice, because I'm bloody sure if we're saying some of this stuff, others wiser than us have been saying it too. Its broken Mark, FFS FIX IT!
