ffs. take a reality check. you need to check what the age of consent is in different places. 16 is an arbitrary marker; there's a range across the world. mostly it's between 14 and 18, but in places it's as low as 12 or as high as 20. 15 is not unusual. in california it's 18. there's a bloke just like you in california disgustedly writing "Marrying a 17 year old??" there's a huge difference between buggering babies or raping someone and not asking for the birth certificate of a randy teenager (who would in any case have lied if asked her age).

If they had tits and an arse, I think a lot more men than are willing to admit it would **** a 13-14 year old. If men were just walking hormones, chemicals and urges then we could be excused for that. We are programmed to **** anything of sexual maturity. But we've developed things called a conscious and morals. They should stop us acting on these urges. It seems Saville et al were not *****s, thats a whole different category to what they were getting up to. But it does seem that Saville was abusing his position of power and trust, to knowingly fool around with vulnerable under aged girls. Pains me to say it about Peel, but agreed also. Fair play to any single man sleeping around with young consenting women. I'm from the Sir John Betjeman school of thought on this. And if the occasional slightly under age girl unknowingly slips through the net, then I guess that can be forgiven. But it seem these ****ers prayed on young girls. Makes them sexual abusers in my eyes.
