It's a crying shame none of LIDL's ancestors were claimed at Peterloo, though I suspect they didn't come from Manchester
A United fan telling Liverpool fans to leave a Spurs forum thread regarding Liverpool? Surely if any one ought to **** off it ought to be you...
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard speaking on Football Focus about never leaving the club: "I have had many opportunities to leave over the last five years. Everyone is aware that my head has been turned on a number of occasions but I know what it means to play for this club as a supporter and I will never leave." So, he will "never" leave 'Pool? That means, if they are relegated this season, he'll be happy to play Championship footy next season. That does show an incredible lack of ambition, to me.
So, what's the news for today's game? Can we get an honest and straightforward assessment, as none of us Spurs fans will have seen it?
I didn't see it PNP but I know enough to post that as Liverpool only advanced one place up the league then they won't be a threat to the top places this season. They play some good stuff but lack that scorer.
- Gerrard was terrible. - Young players continued to shine, particularly Wisdom and Suso. - Cole is a waste of pretty much everything. - Hit the post 4 times, as usual. - Agger is world class, indispensable. - We need either an incisive right winger or a top striker in January, allowing us to play Suso deeper and drop Gerrard. - Stoke are an awful, awful side. - Huth could have been sent off twice, at least. Wilson was unpunished for a studs up lunge. - Stoke were time-wasting on the half hour mark. - Brendan has a lovely new coat.
Emperor's new clothes? Cheers for the frank and honest update, RA. Stoke being a bit rough and Liverpool hitting the woodwork was pretty predictable, I guess. Gerrard's saving himself for England, by the way. San Marino are a tough test for him and Fat Frank, assuming that they both don't chicken out.
He's banned. Looked way worse than vs United and Norwich today. Probably tired legs. Stoke should be ashamed of themselves. No ambition and clearly trying to discourage our players through big contact. Watch MOTD - Huth deliberately stamps on Suarez's chest in the first few minutes and goes completely unpunished. Cannot stress enough how lovely Brendan's coat is though. in·ci·sive (n-ssv) adj. Penetrating, clear, and sharp, as in operation or expression: Take and apply in context... Not sure if you're trying to be smart or funny but it's quite clear...
Wonder what Roy Rodgers` excuse will be this time for a failure to win at home? Probably all the referees fault as per usual.
Not trying to be either Reverend,I genuinely wasn't sure what incisive means to describe a winger because for me wingers are supposed to be penetrating and sharp otherwise what use are they? To say a winger is incisive means to me to describe him as exactly what he should be. Anyway,NO sarcasm meant ok.
