you cannot drop connelly at the moment, he's been excellent.... of course mutch and smith will come back in, and rightly so, and agree possibly now could be a chance to rotate one or two and maybe give some of the foreign buys more of a chance to make an impact off the bench......

I disagree on Turner, Conelly has been excellent and couldn't be blamed for either of the stupid pens at Palace. Can't believe I'm saying leave Turner out but both our current CB's are untouchable in selection terms at the moment imo.
Smith was good enough before injury to justify his place back too. If Joe had put the finishing touch on one of those chances last night I wouldn't be saying that though! It's a very fine line!

If Smith is fit, I'd bring him in instead of Helguson for this one - leave Joe where he is.

The rest should be left alone - if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Mutch for Gunnar seems a popular choice on here, but I disagree at the moment.

Turner will get atleast one game soon when Hudson has a one match ban. He's picking up yellow cards this season.

He's only had two - same as McNuggs. If McNuggs beats him to 5, then we've got a problem.

My mistake I thought he had more than that. But you're right if Kev reaches 5 cards we have a problem.

Injury hit today but still there for the moment. There appears to be much anguish and consternation amongst Ipswich players, management and forum contributors at the moment....good time to play them?
I suspect a defeat today and Jewell walks, hasn't done much since his Bradford City days. Bradford, whatever happened there?

Red - I think you'll find Jewell took Wigan into the Prem from the lower divisions. Maybe with Whelans' money, but he still did it. <ok>
