Well there we have it, but we all knew that anyway, didn't we? Maybe some who post on this board will now admit what a two faced git Rodgers is. Out of Ayers mouth it was Brendan wanted our Joe, therefore no matter what was in place vis a vis any agreement it was because of Rodgers tapping him up, he went. No kenny, as whoeversfcukingmate keeps on going on about . I await an apology for the rubbish he continues to pour forth but I know I wait in vain!

Missed the show, will have to watch it on demand. Any mention of Gower going there as a replacement for Gerrard?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

After seeing it I have to agree. Ian Ayre said that the first player Rodgers wanted signing was Joe Allen and there was no mention that they were interested before that.
What made it worse for me was him saying it had been a difficult process and a long drawn out one, just shows that not only did they have no intention of keeping their agreement they were hell bent on breaking it.

Sorry if I upset anyone however I'm just fed up with people defending, what is, in my opinion the indefensible. Finally it was at last open for everybody to see that it was Rodgers , using his insider knowlege ,triggering the buy out clause. No one else was interested in joe, no mention of kenny, and there was definately was no regard shown to the protection clause, just the **** that is Rodgers . I look forward to the apologists on her trying to defend him.

We got a good deal for him, he's gone, lets move on, which is more than Joe Allen does with his sideways, backwards passing.

Even better, what the cook said.

"If the match is at 3 o'clock then the team have lunch at 1 o'clock. They have to eat 3 hours before the game". <laugh>

SA9 mine too, but just HAD to make the point. As NJ says we have to move on but the Rodgers worshipers should admit he damaged us with his two faced double dealing not just over Joe but siggy as well. That should not be allowed to pass without comment, and they should stop extolling his virtues as he is lower than a snakes belly in my humble opinion.

We hired a mercenary in brenda he did his job well then moved on to a bigger pay day, looking after number 1 is the name of the game in footy . Brendas a ruthless man in a mean business so he`ll probably go far ! ( i hope not though ).
He aint nothing to our club just a yesterdays man , we need ML to steady our ship now and push on to get that £60m+ at seasons end then we can start dealing with even better quality signings.

Hang on... Dai hasn't appeared yet, said some twaddle and then said "FACT", followed by that 'thumbs up' or 'pint of beer' smiley. Where is he?

... does everyone think he's okay?

100% correct. As much as we dont like to Think so the statement of beingonce a Jack always a Jack is very true, it means the good, bad and ugly of all previous employees should be openly talked about if the need arises. We can be proud or take the piss if we feel the need! From bobbey m to andy Robinson to trundle to rodgers . Many Think that once somebody leaves they Are no longer relevent, truth is in many cases they Are, rodgers being a great example, he has split opinion b ut There isnt a fan out There that would be grudge what he did for us, however, he has also dropped us in the **** with taking one of our best players and he did that in a sneaky way as the tv show proved.

I pray laudrup can keep us up,if he does i see us progressing Even further and it Will blow the rodgers myth clean away. its all part of being a football fan,its why its the most popular game around,it has every plot a Hollywood script writer could Dream up, cloak and dagger, heros to villians..and i ****in loves it!

    STID. <ok>

Well been watching your game and its not good viewing.

    Your remind me of Liverpool.

Good passing, nice play and build up, nothing at all in the final third, miss the odd chance that does come, and then other teams get one or two chances BUT actually take them and then you lose the match despite the nice performance.

I'd say already that losing Allen and Rodger's is definitely, definitely having a negative effect on your team already at this early stage.

There is no way you'd be two down to Reading at home last season. Liberty was like a Fortress.
