Lewis so far unbeaten in same car?

    Well hang on a minute, most have (haha, how ironic genji!) Hamilton's attempted overtakes that went wrong haven't planted him into a barrier. He's damaged his, car but not that bad to send him to his death. These cars are much quicker now than then, although they have alot more grip, but I don't think concrete walls would slow Hamilton, in fact, any driver down. I think it was in his autobiography, Lewis said that if he is going to die, he would prefer it to be on the track

    They are F1 drivers, they are (should be) fearless

    Formula One now must be one of the most safe jobs in the world. I think I remember reading that being a NYC taxi driver was one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, as was a logger. Even compared to other sports I think you are less likely to be injured in F1 than a lot of other sports.

    It may be an old stat, but I remember hearing that statistically you are safer in the cockpit of an F1 car than you are in your own home.

    When I were a lad it wo' commonly said you wo' safer down coal-pit than at 'om in froont of fire wot bont the stoof, even wi' fireguard in proper place. 'Course, even that wo' rare in them days… Honest: soom people joost dooner know thee wo' born yoooth. 'Course; yer can't tell 'em…

    Eating a curry I gather is more dangerous than driving an F1 car.........isn't it?
