If Cole said that about the FA, he may well have played his last game for England!!

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8140596/Ashley-Cole-sorry-over-FA-tweet-in-wake-of-John-Terry-report

Ashley Cole has apologised for posting an abusive tweet relating to the John Terry verdict.

An angry Cole blasted the FA after a Regulatory Commission raised questions over his evidence during the Anton Ferdinand case.

The England full-back changed his initial witness statement to include the possibility Ferdinand used the word 'black' during a row with Terry when Chelsea were beaten at QPR in October 2011.

And the amended statement corroborated Terry's defence that he did not racially abuse Ferdinand, but merely repeated an offensive phrase he thought the QPR defender had accused him of using.

In its findings, the Commission said new evidence meant there was "considerable doubt over Mr Cole's claim that he heard, or could have heard, Mr Ferdinand use the word 'black'".

That conclusion angered Cole, who wrote on his Twitter page: "Hahahahaa, well done FA. I lied, did I" before adding an abusive hashtag.

The tweet was quickly deleted and an apology issued through Cole's solicitor. It read: "I was really upset and tweeted my feelings in the heat of the moment. I apologise unreservedly for my comment about the FA."

The Commission's report questioned whether Cole had changed his initial account after discussions with David Barnard, the Chelsea club secretary whose own evidence caused "very real concerns" and was not addressed by the Chief Magistrate in his judgment of Terry's criminal case.

Barnard insisted he had a clear memory of Cole mentioning the word 'black' in his initial FA interview, but the Commission cast doubt on the "accuracy" and "motivation" of his statement.

Chelsea issued a statement backing Cole and Barnard which said both men stood by their evidence and had "co-operated at all times" with the investigation.

Even the FA are accusing them of being part of the cover up and lies. Its comical they banned a fan permanently for racial abuse and then lie and try to cover up their captain doing it. What a horrible little club.

Cole has now apologised for his tweet. May be he'll claim he was just repeating what he thought the FA had said to him...

That scores at least 9.2 Goldie... It opens up a new dimension in how to insult anyone... It would be great if someone was able to pass that across ... say to Garth Crooks during one of his interviews. Garth would explode and you are covered fully by saying as you understood it you were just repeating what you heard.

Maybe a post match interview ...

" So Mark Rangers are in trouble how do you see yourself in terms of responsibility? " ... freeze frame and hold death stare for 13 seconds.

"Garth you look like a giant ****ing blackcurrant and your fawn Farah slacks are far too tight around your thighs and testicles, Have you by chance got a butt plug fitted because if you have its leaking and **** is coming out"

" No need to be rude Mark"

" I beg your pardon Garth I was purely repeating the question you just asked me"

Can't we just put this whole miserable saga behind us now? The FA should have acted quickly a year ago as they did with Suarez, who probably does have racist attitudes, wheras Terry likely just stupidly acted in the heat of the moment, as mentioned by the black ex-Villa player guest during last Sunday's Aston Villa vs. WBA pre-game show.

    'improbable, implausible and contrived'

Three words that Cole and Terry can't spell and don't understand.

Terry will want to appeal. It'll be interesting to see if his lawyers try to dissuade him. They must know that the decision is spot on and will be difficult to overturn. If Chelsea have any sense at all they will now distance themselves from it leaving JT to foot his own legal bill if he wants to continue with this. Eeveryone knows the truth. Question is does Terry have the balls to apologise and set the record straight?

He will never do it, he is convinced everyone thinks he is hard done by and innocent. He thinks he is untouchable because his club support him no matter what.

Terry has been exposed as a liar on more than one occasion, as his pathetic excuse when he was sent off against Barcelona last year. He can't help himself, it's in his nature and he'll probably appeal simply because he can. It'll cost him in every way, his legal bill is £800k and rising and Chelsea have refused to pay it. His reputation has never been lower and he is now held in complete contempt by all but the blinkered Blues' fans...

I think the FA even referenced that in the report to prove hes a liar. Terry reminds me of the smug git in the films who is the politicians/police/rich mans son who thinks he can get away with anything. He may have done in the past but hes been caught red handed with this one.
