I'm sure a lot of you have facebook (apparently it has more pages than the whole of the Internet in 2005 so it seems likely you do), but have you read some of the posts on there in response to the Official NCFC page's posts? Like I said a couple of days ago on another post, some of these people can't have possibly been supporting Norwich 4 years ago. They're fairweather fans and nothing else! Anyway, I thought I'd treat you to some of their insight: In response to the question, 'Can Holty get on the scoresheet at Stamford Bridge?' Matty Hogan: 3-0 to chelsea, Holt will probz be on bench again as hughton doesn't know how to manage norwich. Gazza Spelman: The youth team could go there and get a result the 1st team are just playing lazzy at the mo chelsea 6-0 norwich Gary Jordan: I guess the "manager" will do what he wants to do. Which will probably mean we will start with a defensive line up. How many goal keepers do we have, is their any rule about playing 3 people in goal? Then, to the post entitled: 'HUGHTON ON CHELSEA' Lucas Canaries: Hughton Out! The genius, Gary Jordan, again: Ok how long do you stick by the manager for Dec Jan or when. the bloke doesnt have a clue Anyway, there's loads more, but those are the pick from the club's two most recent posts. At least if we went down these sort of people would return to the rocks from which they came! It's seriously frustrating to see these sort of people representing the club. On the Ball City.

i remember chatting to a guy outside prenton park a few years ago. we'd just been stuffed by tranmere, you may recall the ref had a bit of a 'mare, mr ilderton. anyway, i digress. the guy told me on leaving the ground and in no uncertain terms that paul lambert should be sacked after that result - norwich should not be losing away to tranmere was the gist of the argument. we were top of the league at the time! basically, what i'm saying is that we have some total idiots who support our club
The number of times I've heard people say 'sack Hughton' is unbelievable. But at least these idiots aren't as bad as the idiot who sits behind me at Carrow Road making fart noises!
Someone's now gone on facebook saying we should sack Hughton and bring in Jurgen Klopp! Like he would leave Dortmund to come here! The mind boggles...
Always be idiots we have the right man for the time he will do his best with what we have, if we are mid table in four months time they will still be moaning and we will know they r still stupid
One of the great things about the "open" internet is that it does give free rein to "muppets" (and worse). It's a valuable education for anyone clinging to illusions about their fellow human beings.
As fans we need to start supporting the club either that or don't ****ing turn up to games. The atmosphere I've seen at Carrow Road this season has been shocking get behind the team and support them till death!
I'm going to sound like an old fart here, but this is all part of the modern culture of celebrity, instant fame and success, and dreams of becoming Jordan. It's got into football and no one has any patience any more. A lot of football fans - not just ours - seem to demand automatic, instant success without any groundwork and call for the head of the manager after half a dozen poor results. I hope and trust that McNally and Delia have wiser heads on their shoulders.
