Ok I admit it, I was wrong. I thought the Skunks luck would run out before now. Yet it is there and as strong as ever, I don't think I have ever seen a luckier side. Ba playing volleyball and no one sees it the other day. Last nights game the frogs defence decides to go walkabout and gift them a freebie. As if that wasn't enough they decide to score an own goal for them. Then the one season wonder, with all the extra officials looking on, "shins" a goal from an offside position. Unbelievable Jeff!
It's a little worrying coming up to the game against us isn't it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it runs out this weekend
Why would there be excuses? Your luck is clearly holding. Hopefully we play well enough to over ride your luck.
I have to say mate, it's the longest run of luck I have ever seen. It has to end sometime though, so why not against us.
Please change the record as yours is broken - hopefully there'll be no punching of the ball into the goal by a senegalese player either? Or unpunished punching of players in the face yards away from the referee??
Or players clearly handling the ball then rolling about as if hurt by the ball. Like some over grown child. Or supposed hardmen rolling about pretending they have been poleaxed, because the player was ripping him a new one at football. Or dirty scummy French players doing nasty niggly tackles none stop and getting away with it. Or officials being blind to anything your side does, yet spots anything and everything the opposition do and even some they didn't.
There's a different between purposely trying to cheat by handling the ball on the line, than your hand accidentally getting in the way of the ball and it leading to a goal. And which "punch" would you be referring to?
1. Hahaha. You're referring to is the Steven Taylor handball. How long ago was that? 6 years? And he was still a kid ffs. 2. Well then maybe your team shouldn't come to another teams ground, clearly try to frustrate and get the opposition angry by putting in awful challenges, then lose your own discipline and start elbowing players. 3. Cabaye's last bad challenge, the one against Sheffield Wednesday, got him a suspension, and we all agreed he deserved it. He's obviously had a talking from Pardew, and he's been fine for ages. 4. You can talk cack about us getting lucky, but you make your own luck, and quality is why we've been successful over the last couple of years, and we've produced far more than you, which is why we finished 20pts above you. So keep crying about how we're getting lucky, and how nothing before O'neill counts.
always a firm believer you make your own luck! Saying that the mags, and im sure not one can disagree. Have had a obscene amount so far this year. Pure Jam Factory
Same, we've been unlucky for 32 years I've been on the planet, without bad luck we'd have won 31 titles in that time (The Arsenal invincibles would have beaten us 1 year, due to an unlucky incident in one of our games)
Probably some pen decision that Arsene didnt see! We have been lucky on occasions like, but unlucky with injuries as well so wouldnt say we are ****ting gold or anything.
****ting gold would be both lucky and unlucky. Yes, your **** would be worth a few quid, but **** me you'd have a sore hoop. The original article is clearly semi-tongue in cheek, just seems there's plenty of people about who missed that!
