Hello lads. Nothing for me today, tenth wedding anniversary so best not show an interest in anything or anyone else!! Have a great day at Fontwell Wooly. Btw what a cracking race the 3.50 at Gowran Park is tomorrow for an early season 'chase. GL anyone having a punt.
I reckon he has a very od chance if he gets in but I kinda hope he doesn't as thought he'd be much bigger than a 16/1 shot. If he does get in then I'd do an e/w double with his stablemate in the 9.25 Acts Out Loud 18/1 who I think should run a big race tonight.
Dex, you do know its Tin or Aluminium for marital bliss after 10 years...xxx So maybe if you get a few 'tins' in and recycle them as they have Aluminium in em, i cant see the day going wrong...!!! Have a good one mate...
9.25 Dundalk Acts Out Loud 18/1 NAP I think Vincent Ward's 4 year old Acts Out Loud looks on a very workable mark of 52 and I think he's been primed for a big run tonight. This filly is a cast off from the Dermot Weld stable but her trainer Ward really excels with these with his excellent double Listed winner Fictional Account and Regal Tramp coming from the same route. Ward, a sheep farmer by trade, only has a partial license which only allows him to trainer 4 horses at a time (he did last year but he may be able to train more this year). After 4 runs in for Weld, Acts Out Loud joined her current connections at the start of the year and was a very eye catching 4th in my opinion off a mark of 57 when a 10L beaten 4th back in January (front two drew 10L clear and are now both rated more than 10lb higher) and it was a fine introduction over today's C+D. On her next start she was surprisingly dropped back to a mile on soft ground at Gowran Park where she again ran an eye catching race as she plugged on up the home straight shaping as if she would appreciate the step back up in trip. Her last start came over 9f again at Gowran Park last May when something was obviously wrong as she finished well beaten. She's fallen back to a mark of 52 and is stepped back up to 1m4f which I definitely think should suit and after nearly 5 months off the track I'm hoping her trainer will have freshened her up nicely and have her spot on for this. The excellent Sam James takes the ride an takes off an extremely useful 3lb in this very average looking contest. With a very good draw in stall 3, I'm very hopeful of a big run at a track where Ward does very well (24% strike rate) and if fully wound up then I feel she is definitely capable of visiting the winners enclosure tonight.
Evening all, Just back Fontwell - Cheers for all the winners guys Had a great day! One or two beers a burger and 5 winnners Rendl Beach definately looks one to follow, won very impressively!!
Glad you had a good day Woolly. Can't agree about Rendl Beach though - I thought it was a shocking race, they were all walking 2 out. Some schooling in public going on there I reckon.
I'm already following Rendel Beach from last year I think 30,000 is going to be a Bargain, this one's going to the top.
