Instead of a 30 yard screamer, how about he blasts the ball, it's going wildly wide, but Amy's nose (broken in the process) diverts it goalward and in. Then the badge kissing, kop, new contract, and inviting us all to his new mansion to celebrate.
Amy beats Williamson in the air to score in the first 3 minutes from a free kick. Suarez dribbles past Simpson and finishes from an acute angle to make it 2-0 in 10 minutes to Liverpool. We manage to hold off wave after wave of Liverpool attack for the rest of the first half. The second half isn't good for us, Liverpool continue to dominate until we defend against a freekick, it's knocked away by Williamson into the path or Enrique, who finds a darting run by Jonas, who sprints up the left side. He tries to cross the ball in but it's blocked, but falls back into him. He then faints another cross and then plays a square ball on the edge of the box, which Tiote runs onto, and smashes the ball in from outside the box, which hits the underside of the bar, and belts in the back of the net. Then to finish it off, Kuqi tackles Amy from kick off and belts it in from the half way line making it a 3-2 victory in Scouse land
An Andy Carroll own goal to win us the game, in my opinion, would top anything that has happened this season. I'd ****ing love it!
Harper's declared fit for the match, but Krul still starts. He comes off the bench in the 70th minute.....to replace a largely ineffective Ameobi, much to the shock of commentators and pundits and the amusement of the Liverpool supporters.... but stuns the scouse crowd as he scores... and scores again, and completes his hat-trick all within 5 minutes to pull it back from 2-0 down to 3-2 up. Kuqi then scores a 30 yarder, Colo with a stunning over head kick from outside the box, Tiote grabs another left footed volley, and Amy scores an own goal as he trips over his own bag of cash and pony hair.
