I was proud of our chief investor and his attitude to the Scottish Football scene. Mr Desmond was as always
perfect gentleman. Unlike Mr Green who as made a small investment in Sevco and this appears to give Mr Green
the authority to rant and rave, to bad mouth other Scottish clubs and to threaten the football authorities, Mr
Desmond speaks nothing only praise of other Scottish clubs and the authorities. This week is not an appropriate time
to gloat over Sevco and Mr Desmond was right to say he thought Rangers (mark 2) would be in Spl soon.
Mr Desmond won't influence the speed or otherwise of their entry. Mr Desmond is right to be non controversial at this
time as Mr Green shouts and rants sufficiently to keep himself look a fool without Mr Desmond saying anything.

Desmond is a super rich prick, I can't bring myself to like anyone who has the kind of money he has, its discusting.

The **** even takes expenses out of Celtic for some of the stuff he does and I bet he never pays for his ****ing tickets either.

    He's a ****!!!

Desmond dodges more tax in a week than Rangers dodged in a year.

That's completely unethical. What about the schools, nurses, teachers, nuns, roofs, roads, treatment for alcoholism, horse food, caravans and potatoes his taxes could buy the Oirish.

They're in Ireland. They're irrelevant to Scottish football.

If Double D wants to rob the Irish of money then, although morally reprehensible, is no really any kind of issue for Scottish people, the Scottish economy or Scottish football.

I've got my serious heid on and I'm gonna disagree with that.

I hope that anyone in any country dodging their liabilities to the state gets donged in the arse for it <ok>

If that's to my football team's detriment, so be it.

So were Rangers. EBTs are legal. Then the law changed in 2010.

Like I said, it's morally reprehensible but it's no worse than the robbery that goes on once the money is in the hands of state or governmental officials.

For me, if someone is managing to con the state and no get caught for it then well ****ing done.

I wonder could you give us any supporting facts to help you in your appeasement of the huns and their friends. An empty mind and a
stupid statement can do more harm than good. Surprising Ciaran you use to have a brain.

Surprised with Desmond and his "rangers and their history" statement. Maybe he meant, "rangers...and they`re history"

Dermot Desmond knows he doesn't have to do anything or say anything to help the destruction of Rangers/Sevco: they are more
than capable themselves and in fact are going the right way.
I like his aloofness to the whole thing. I try to do the same myself but sometimes I feel I just have to put the record right.

Gawd, how often does this have to be gone over for the mentally challenged.

Rfc did not operate the EBTs properly. It was not illegal for a employer through a third party to offer loans to employees at very low interest rates from overseas accounts. This is not what rfc did. The employer should then take nothing to do with the loan and the employee must request a loan from the third party.

Rfc nominated players and paid them through the EBT in place of every day wages and bonuses for playing football, simply to evade tax.

Now before anyone claims that this is only alleged, we have to recall that HMRC have already found rfc guilty by sending them a bill for the tax evaded.

I wish some people would try to grasp the difference. It really is not very difficult.
