It has already started, back in 2002 this would never have happened.
Sad to see. But Di-Resta should also retire from the sport, as he made the same mistakes ;)

Kimi getting screwed over by his KERS not working again? Excellent.

    *Insert Eastenders theme*

Sebs race pace is looking good, stronger than Webber and Lewis, with a longer stint to add on.

Ah well. Kimi's title hopes will be over after this race weekend then.

How good is Paul Di Resta, even a 7 Time world champion wants to be like him..
They both put it into the barriers at Spoon, so by definition, Paul Di Resta is as good as (if not better, after all he did it first) a 7 times WDC?
Put that on your CV Paul and watch the offers flood in!

Yeah, but whilst Shuey and Di Resta went off, Kovalainen made the same mistake and held it, so surely he's better than a 7 x WDC?

Well at least McLaren arent too far ahead of Alonso but wow what a lap from Webber. Please Mark, PLEASE dont choke in qualifying. Seeing as Ferrari will probably be 4th or 5th at best, it would be PERFECT if you win the race!

a Button webber 1-2 would be good but I think some team orders will make it a Hamilton-Vettel 1-2

As the track improves the happier Seb will get with the added tweaking to the car during FP3 should spring a big surprise lap by Seb in Q3 that will easily defend from anything Webber or Lewis would chuck back. It's not important having the best setup today but more importantly for tomorrow.

Also Webber will not let Seb past, that's for certain. I don't think Seb needs it anyway as he clearly has the legs on Webber in race pace, set his fastest race pace times at the start of the stint with a greener track and heavier fuel load compared with his team mate while the track was improving all the time and set it at a far later time.

Seb and Webber is closer than it looks in qualifying pace considering he went out later than Seb, so again how much advantage he had is hard to say.

Seb was also easily faster than anybody on track with the prime tyre in qualifying trim, so it's only the option tyre in qualifying trim that needs to be sorted out for Saturday and I would gather Seb to be in a strong place for the remainder of the weekend.

Need Button to get pole in the hope that after his penalty he's still be in front of Alonso ;)

Really good video, summing up the end of an era, and the title fight this season, actually it is a brilliant video. And the music is too.

Like he was in Singapore <whistle> Until Lewis retired Vettel had no answer to his pace in the race. Temperatures can change and so can track conditions. I wouldn't get too carried away just yet.

I guessed you missed the part when Seb got within 1.2 seconds and was still closing even before the gearbox failed ;)

It was 1.2 seconds - 1.5 seconds until he retired. Vettel and Lewis were matching each other.
