You better not watch Being:Liverpool tomorrow night as theres quite a lot about Joey's signing on it including Ayre telling the camera that Rodgers told him in their very first conversation ever that Liverpool must sign Joe Allen ahead of anyone else.

Ill tell you once more....joe allen was approached by liverpool when Kenny was the boss and Brendan was our boss, there was no way joe was going to turn that move down in a month of Sundays and at the same time when all the rumors were flying around about Rodgers that Jenkins came out and said that no approach was made for Rodgers,,,what happened within 24hrs Rodgers was installed as liverpools manager....the joe allen deal was already close to happening and just the fee to be arranged and by coincidence it was Rodgers who now was instructed to fulfill the deal and thats what he did........you can all try and discredit Brendan all you like and it will be Bullshssit as he has not come in for anyof our players on his behalf........its all sour grapes...
Well looks like we will find out tomorrow what happened as I'm sure Liverpool will want to make it clear they didn't break any agreements and that negotiations were already under way before Rodgers was appointed. Dai will be vindicated too and will be owed some apologies. I bet you can't wait Dai ?
Joe Allen seems a cracking guy based on the episode. Which is a pretty average episode building to our glorious opening day embarrassment
well all you have to do is contact jenkins and ask why he never stopped allen from going....the truth is he couldn't as allen would have complained that the club was hindering his ambitions and if it had gone to a tribunal we would have lost as the approach was made by a previous manager that had nothing to do with rodgers....jinks would have stopped it other wise...
The reason Jenkins didn't try to stop it happening was because he had 15 million flashed in front of his eyes. No brainer really

I had high regard for rodgers when he left to take a massive job,i have wained on this since, but dont really be grudge rodgers as he ensured our club got good money,if he was a total **** then he would not have signed his contract with us. It is part of the food chain of football and we Are at the bottom of it in the prem league. Norway. I think most on here probably had your thoughts, but it's been Dai's constant defending and general Rodgers "love-in" that has ended up polarising the issue for many on here, so we probably end up sounding more bitter simply because we're arguing with Dai... lol
