Mmmmm I doubt it Drogs. Even if it does, you'll only be left with the rubbish seats in the back rows of the stands behind the goals where you can't even see above the crossbar in the other end.
If I forgot to get tickets and realised when the points got that low, I really would probably end up not going just because of the rubbish seats that are left available.
23 points will be enough for Spurs IMO. But don't go as I want a ticket. I might get a Shaktar ticket just to have enough and sell it for face value
It was just west uppers left at 5 points. But some of the restricteds in row Y of MHL/East lower are a great view. From 121 ish you can see everything bar the corner flag by East stand. Great value for 23.50
Sounds like very good value although I would still be apprehensive to book the east stand. I only know the rows and seats in the Shed and MH at the back of my hand to know exactly what my view is like when I'm issues a ticket. Thats another thing I hate. How they select tickets for you. There needs to be a system where they show available seats and you just pick those. Sick and tired of trying MHL and getting ROW GG before getting ROW M at the 50th attempt.
Also, in the hope that I get a ticket for the Lane. What is the away end like? Do all away fans get a good view of the action?
I've never sat in upper tier but lower tier at most grounds is always better, it depends where you are sat. In 09/10 my seats were ok, in 10/11 they were brilliant but last year I was right by segregation and they weren't great
There was an 80 year old Spurs fan on a walking stick getting visibly wound up by a few 17 year old Chelsea fans and wanting to take them on, it was ****ing hilarious, they were better than any WUMS I've seen on here for sure I was sat next to segregation for Arsenal as well (I have pics) but it just isn't the same. Arsenal isn't at all partisan and the fans aren't as passionate as Spurs fans IMO
MATE!!! I LOVE SITTING NEAR SEGREGATION!!!!!!!!!! Its where the most fun is at giving them banter. What row were you at the Emirates as I was right next to segregation aswell. Do you remember how we were winding up the Arsenal fan with the sunglasses in the red top? "Whoooos the wa***r in the RED!" That was hilarious. Also 3 Arsenal fans were sitting in and around me. Fools couldn't contain their happiness when Gervinho scored and they never returned for the 2nd half. But yeah I absolutely love segregation, its the only reason why sometimes I'll sit in the Family stand at the Bridge. Aside from the cheap tickets of course
Yeh that 'who's the ****er in the red' was good as all 2800 of us were singing it! I love the banter with the home fans at away matches. At Villa away last season I was the last person from the Villa fans in the lower tier on the right hand side of the stand if you're looking at the away section. Some great banter! For spuds I'm 25 rows back in the lower tier roughly in the middle of the away bit. Looked at my ticket from last time I went (I keep all the away tickets as momento's etc...) and it turns out my ticket last time was almost exactly where I'm going to be this time. Had a great view of the pitch and of course the atmosphere will be good as it's spuds away!
so what is the most favourite ground you have visited as an away fan? - Munich who do you think has the best away fans in England? - Man U what has been your favourite away match that you've been to? - Too many to mention! Munich(!) Lazio away 4-0, Man U and Liverpool away 2010 title run in, Liverpool in CL semi 3-1, any from 83-4! who has had the best away fans that have come to the Bridge from England? - none stand out these days. have you ever been 'jumped on' or 'targeted' by home fans when on an away day? - Cardiff away 83-4 was pretty hairy to say the least.
Don't get all the love for City fans...not particularly great imo, people seem to think they're good because they're one of the best teams in the country and haven't had enough time to lose their atmosphere yet. Old Trafford is indeed terrible, but as mentioned they have the best away fans in the country, worst away fans i would have to say Fulham especially in proportion to home gates re foreign grounds, Germans are the best, Spanish fans tend not to have the same away fan travelling culture as we do here, away attendances are very low...
Fulham away support much better this season: some good turnouts by all accounts. And at least they don't desert their team when they are getting hammered at the Bridge
