Looks like we're going with what we've got... Philip Buckingham ‏@PJBuckingham Don't expect any new arrivals before the weekend. Bruce and Chester could both be back for Ipswich.
Well we've got an international break coming up, so we've only got 1 game in 2 weeks, by which time Chester and Bruce may well be back, and Hobbs is two weeks closer to returning. If we go 4 at the back those 3 are comfortably enough to get us through the Sheffield Wednesday game IMO.
I think with injuries we will have to go 4-4-2. That way we only need 2 CB's. It also means Dawson can come in as a LB instead of a WB if Dudgeon isn't fit. Could do with a loan but it doesn't look like there's much out there so guess Cooper will have to step in. I also think it's worth recalling Bradley (don't think we can until January, but we should try). If not, we should ask Ferriby if we can have Nathan Peat back for a month.
Neither can I. And I hear Nick McNamara is tearing it up at Scarborough Athletic - we have to hold onto these hot prospects. I believe it's the end of November. So plenty of time yet.
Think the YP thought they were reporting on Bradford, claret & amber, how can you get this simple fact wrong
i think the Chester injury is a smokescreen. I have it on good authority that there is a swap imminent involving Ben Marshall. It's gonna happen. Wink Wink!
Presumably because there's no bugger available. Weird story but I spent tonight sat talking to our ex-winger Ryan Williams. He now lives right near Cooper and they're good mates. I asked how Liam felt about Bruce ignoring him and whether he was still injured (Ben Amos said something last week that suggested he might be still recovering). Apparently he's perfectly fit and ready to play but Bruce isn't interested, and Cooper was annoyed about us trying to 'force' him to go Portsmouth for a pointless month of football.
