I love the blindness some of you guys follow this club with, and wish i had it. But in all honesty us taking out a loan cannot be seen as 'good news for the club'. Nobody knows the ins and outs of why we took out a loan, what it was needed for and what interest rates we are going to pay, but what nobody can argue is it does suggest we do not have as much wealth as most people thought, and perhaps we are not as 'financially stable' as we were led to believe we were.
He has only gone and done it , he has only gone and done it ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTfOI1LMvlc
It was bound to happen! Button down the hatches or should that be emergency exits! It's going to get bumpy!
Surely even the most positive (blind optimists) must raise a little eye brow at events off the field this week. I for one think its nothing to worry about as i think SFC are in a great position whatever happens, but i do also believe that we are closer to the end of the liebherr era than we think and i wouldn't be at all surprised if we were put up for sale in the near future. Its never dull being a saint!!!!!
Some people need to call the Samaritans, jumping to conclusions when they know **** all. Guess some people are never happy and can only see the worse in everything.
And what are these events? - Development of the training ground temporarily suspended due to an issue with contractors, "whilst details of a specific aspect of the specification is confirmed". - Took out a loan in September, which is something that basically every football club does, and was probably just to replace a previous loan. Are these the events you speak of? Because they're certainly not connected and they're certainly nothing to be concerned about.
We know **** all about the loan or how much it's for, but yeah it's the end of the world because we took a ****ing loan out.
Jen you are not Jenny the Saint in another guise , I am scared of that lady , she gives Bazza the willies..........................
Thank the Lord , someone know Bazza Sanchez , Jenny this no place for lady , Bazza look after you , this no place like 606 . strange strange place this .
Some things I've decided about this: 1. The fact that we're asking questions about this is good, unlike those silly skates. 2. We know nothing about the terms of the loan. Repayment date, interest rate, AMOUNT. 3. IT's secured against mext season's TV money. Money we're going to get whatever happens. 4. Apparently, interest rates are as low now as they've been for ages. 5. If anyone thinks ML built up his business empire without taking any loans, you're crazy. 6. Cortese is (or used to be) an investment banker, and a pretty good one, at that. He knows vastly more about how these things work than any of us do.
Firstly how do you know it's secured against next season's TV money? And secondly we don't get it if we're relegated.
