The line up is not as important as the performance tonight for me. A good performance with a win or a draw and we'll have a great chance of qualification. It's at home so I expect a decent game. Udinese are better than Young Boys but they still aren't a great team. They've had little success in Serie A recently and are currently having trouble scoring (up until the last few games, that sounds familiar...). I think providing we can shore up our leaky defense we have a good chance of winning. I've predicted a draw but, TBH, we could (and perhaps should) win this. Without Suarez, though, the onus will be on Sahin and, perhaps, Borini to score. We need someone firing today, but who? Sahin has to be the massive favourite after finishing so well recently. Borini might have added incentive playing one of his country's teams, and this could (hopefully!) be what he needs to start banging them in. Good match up and I hope we have a great game!
Iv been slating Borini so far but apparently the lad has been playing our of position?! if Brodgers puts him up front in central birth with two wide men then surely he should have no excuses about position/formation. lets be honest we need this guy to score some goals 1) for confidence 2) to help Suarez out) 3) because LFC need more goals lol heres hoping that borini is played in his position and scores a few. Also looking forward to seeing shelvy play (if he's picked)
I forgot about Shelvey. He always looks good for goals -- he's been brilliant recently. Yeah, we really do need Borini to start scoring. Like most strikers, I'm sure it's a confidence thing. Once he breaks his seal, so to speak, the goals will come pouring out of him -- like pent up p*ss when you're on the lash!
Plenty of effort from Borini at the moment he just needs to bag a couple to settle him down and play with more confidence, his running reminds me of Kuyt.

He gets a lot of unfair stick to be honest. He works hard and there has been a lot more to his game than getting goals. His shots on target rate must be pretty good because from what I have seen he has made opposition keepers pull off some fine saves.
