<laugh> I'll not need a pension. 65 is quite an ambitious age

I won't. I'll be retired somewhere warm, with a wee local boozer by the beach, eyeing up the topless burds while drinking my liver into final and complete shutdown.

With enough left in the bank for a nightly gobble off a big black Carribean hooker <ok>

    It's the way to go.

I was at a girl's funeral in ****tleston last week, very sad indeed, she had just turned 27.

There was a massive floral tribute from her 6 grandchldren.

I know 2 brothers who are pensioners

1 was a jack the lad, lived life to the full no pension schemes etc nice car/house/bird etc. The other was the good un

The one regret comes from the goodun who was careful and is in the same position as the other but didnt live life to the max

pensions etc are a con IMO. when you hit 70 your needs are basic so you dont need loads.
If you die before you will get buried and who cares how or where
teach your little uns right and they will take care of themselves

I jacked in my pension contributions as soon as I learnt I could. It was an extra couple of hundred quid (ish) a month

My mother in law was nurse then teacher, always careful since and always skint as most of the money went into the mortgage and a car every few years (fiesta) now is pensioned, drives a fiesta and pops over to france by road. Had bnever been abroad prior

My old man, never had a pension worked, earnt spent. Lives in a massive house travels abroad every year and drives a merc

but yeah his pension is smaller

not hard bealy tbh. his old man did pretty much the same thing.

he set himself up when earning, didnt worry about inheritance etc, spent his money on us for education etc, in essence making himself and us self sufficient
instead of giving money to pension companies to invest he did it himself

he gets a state pension and that is enough for day to day living and we help out where poss if needed. tbh though when i needed money for a house he helped me out
