Of course Col I would love to see us where West Ham are in the table
We have a fantastic squad that regardless of the points total have looked very very good.
I am guilty of immediatius as any on here and this really is about growing our club and it has to be small steps
MH has purchased some great players and we must not forget that
How they play together is another thing but for fans on here wanting to smash up all the good and hard work this club has done is crazy.
Flyer suffers a lot as if you notice he will be tinkering with formations forever and will not find ever find peace

I am sure it's apparent to everyone on here now that we have good players
They are under severe pressure and I admire Hughes more and more for handling this.

I would pick Taarabt every match but I understand now the club has to grow from the inside and we can speculate what may of happened maybe a disapline issue ... Same can be said for any QPR player.

Options ... MH has them and of course it looks from the outside he isn't performing yet points aside I feel it's going to be fine .

TF is well within his rights to call fans clueless he only has to read this forum
Many comments on here have let the club down IMO

Maybe TF was thinking that the fans are clueless by spending their hard earned money to see Rangers lose again

Its a results based business as any manager will tell you!
The thing is, i don't honestly think anyone wants Hughes to fail, we don't want to berate our manager, we want to win and see progress but if you class progress as spending a fair amount of money but being bottom of the league then we are well entitled to question his ability.

To be fair those comments are the result of MH letting us down this season.

Dyer was out with a hamstring. My guess is he felt that with no recognised full backs he wanted more defensive minded midfielders to help cover. Don't necessarily agree.

A lot of hamstring injuries is another concern.

I do not post very often but read everyday. I just cannot understand how some of you on here want to see Hughes out. TF is right, some fans comments he has been getting on Twitter show them to be cluless. None of us are at the club training ground everyday seeing the players, knowing the slight niggling injuries they may have. all I know is Mark Hughes is far better qualified to pick a squad and team than any of us and some of the daft comments after only 6 games confirms what TF is on about.
Personally i have felt we have progressed as each game has gone on. Even after the first goal on tuesday I felt the midfield pairing of Faurlin and Grenero looked good but simply got out bullied by West ham. Having Diakite on for the short period did seem to change that.

Positive support is what we need not knee jerk ill informed reactions

That is the only logical explanation. I will give Hughes the benefit of the doubt until our defensive injury crisis is over. If then Park+SWP are picked ahead of either Taarabt or Hoilett I will be outraged.

Fair enough overall but hard to agree that we have progressed as each game has gone on. Fine until Reading and West Ham.

Fully agree on the positive support but kneejerk?

Mark Hughes' tenure has been 27 matches all competitions - 15 home and 12 away - The sum result is:

23 points out of 45 at home - 2 points out of 36 away!

Is Mark Hughes so impressively qualified to pick a team or squad? My opinion and only my opinion is that this guy is not the real deal - TF craves stability, well he has it - No points away from home and very few at home!

This man has a streak of 5 home games to thank for us surviving last year, starting with the Liverpool match which we had no real right of winning until he was "forced" to take off Mr.Barton. Can't say I've been over impressed with anything else he's done - Don't feel we should delude ourselves too much with who he's brought in either, they're here for the money and we can live with that.

Think it's great that so many of you are staying positive but this just reminds me of the Magilton,Hart,Sousa era where so many knew that it would all end in tears, this smacks of the same, just with an apparent "Bigger name".

I ask one question - Most of us didn't like Mr.Warnock prior to him joining us but we knew what he would do for us and so were willing to forgive. Most of us didn't like Mr.Barton prior to him joining and were all willing to forgive - shortly afterwards it became clear it would end in tears - Just saying that I think Mr.Hughes is in the Magilton,Hart,Sousa ilk and not Holloway,Di Canio,Warnock ilk.

But kneejerk no - Scared sh.....less absolutely!!!!

He's the proud owner of two teams, in probably the most glamorous sports in the world, and both teams are running dead last. Reckon he might stay away from the blog for a while.

re Barton. Are you suggesting he only took Barton off because we the fans boo'd him. If so then maybe Tf is very inciteful. Beforeyou ask I did not boo Barton, thought it was a poor thing to do as it effects 10 other men out there. He had a shocker, we could all see that and I imagine so did Mr hughes
