Teams like Norwich and QPR are waiting for Saints to turn up. It's dog eat dog in the lower reaches!

Fair point, Fran. You are still staying positive, I see. There is only one game where I have been disappointed by the performance. Clue: it was at home. There was one other game where I thought we should have got at least a point. Clue: also at home and we were 2-1 up with minutes left. Other than that we have been caught in a whirlwind by Arsenal (who do this every now and again) and a very good Everton side who should have scored 10 the week before at Swansea. I shan't be taking the rope to the Runcorn bridge just yet. I await the likes of Norwich et al. After that I may have to be out on suicide watch!

We should be able to dominate the teams low down. They won't be able to score that many against us either even if we are wide open as they don't have the quality in attack compared to us or the top sides. I think we will struggle to pick up any points against the top 6. But we should play the teams low down off the park at home.

Hughes has an impossible job. As long as the club is run by those morons, no manager will ever have success there.
