Thought I was printing my own money with £500 at 4/6 for a Utd win.

We thought we were playing badly sitting back in the Prem inviting pressure.

Utd were totally dominant for most of the match sloppily conceded goal apart (Which blew my £50 on VP for first goal.).
Yet for most of the second half they have been totally negative and back passing.
Sometimes all the way from the oppos penalty area, then ending up under pressure.
De Gea ending up lumping it up field and giving the ball away or putting it into touch nearly as bad as Ming.
What the hell has happened to them, surely this wasn't Fergies tactics?
They normally go for teams jugulars when they are in the lead.

    Here's a heartbreaking one mate.

My treble was BATE, Celtic & Juve.

BATE & Celtic alone were 45/1, Juve I chucked on as a safe/greedy addition to take it to 60's.

    BATE!!!!!

You're a braver man than me mate.
Bayern were on a great run of wins.

Can't believe the description of vPersie's second goal as brilliant volley on the BBC site. Flicked into the danger area but an absent goalie made it easy for him. Journalism at its worst.

Sucked in by 11/1 mate, watched them against Lille last week, and they looked so dangerous on the break, thought I'd have a punt!

We've certainly lost our rhythm in Europe lads, it's not been pretty to watch for a good year now. We miss Vidic so much, more so because our cover is Evans and we just don't trust him even when he puts in a top shift. Fergie won't buy anyone to cover here though, because he spent so much on Smalling and Jones. They were dubbed the future of our back line, but Jones has lost his confidence and Smalling can't get off the injury table. The trouble with that is that Rio and Vidic have become very injury prone and we haven't got a keeper who is consistently in the side. The back line is rotated so much these days that we can't get momentum going, Raphael is great going forward but I'd say he's still got a lot to learn at RB and Evra has been a bit hit and miss, to the extent that Fergie's brought in Buttner, who isn't ready for the biggest games yet.

When you consider the United side that walked all over European teams (except Barca) we had Van Der Sar, Raphael, Evra at his best and a very fit and steady Rio and Vidic combination. Those days are behind us, unfortunately. Carrick gets more game time in defence than Smalling and Jones do nowadays. Until that unit is sorted, United aren't going to be a safe bet for European ties.

Though Van Persie has been great for you lot Terry.
It must be a worry that your best player by far has been Scholes.

And I would be worried about relying on that plank Carrick in any position.

To be honest with you, I, like most United fans have gotten used to Paul Scholes being our best player, it's something that has been evident for about 15 years and it's part of the territory that comes with being the most complete player this country has produced since, ever. His age continues to be subject to criticism but as long as he is still pulling the strings for us it will always remain just a number.

Where Carrick is concerned, I trust him completely in midfield. He's been in our engine room for some years now along with Fletcher and they've between them taken us to enough Premier League titles and three Champions League finals, yet the much hyped about players such as Parker and Fellaini (although I really rate the latter highly) have never won a thing. He isn't my choice for centre back, I get very nervous when he plays there, but in his own position I'm more than happy to have him in there. He gets a lot of criticism unfairly in my opinion.
