Yet you have your kids in a car, like I do, and there is a far far greater chance of them coming to harm than through some randomer abducting them while they are out playing with their friends. How are you less negligent than that wee girls parents when the stats would say that you are putting your kids in more danger?
They probably took her out in the car as well Ciaran. So they took her in cars AND they left her unsupervised outside. Whereas I just take my kids out in the car.
Who's being nostalgic? I was brought up in one of the most dangerous area of Europe. The world isn't less safe now, it's just shrunk due to the press, internet etc. That's the only difference, that and the likes of the Daily Mail know they will sell more copies with the word *****phile in the title.
So you have made your kids about 0.000000001% safer ffs If you take them out in the motor one extra time a year than that girls parents then that stat would probably be reversed.
She was too young Ciaran. 5 is too young. Why don't you get that? Would you let a 4 year old out without an adult? A 3 year old? A 2 year old? Would you fuck. Because they're TOO YOUNG.
And you were allowed out late at night unsupervised? I wasn't even allowed on the main street when I was that age and neither were the kids I grew up with.
But if you have a crash, what are the chances of dying on average? Pretty slim. If a kid gets abducted, they might as well be dead straight away. The odds of surviving a crash are thousands of times better than surviving being snatched.
She was playing near the house with a bunch of her friends, in a sleepy Welsh village ffs. As I said above kids have probably been playing there for generations. Are all those parents through the ages negligent?
I'm not from a sleepy Welsh village. The world is not a less safe place than it was 20/30 years ago anyway. Do you think it was?
Correct It might not have been but it sure as **** was about to. I'm not gonnae argue with you about it anymore because your no shifting and you're a **** so good luck Jip/SW6.
What is easier to avoid? 1. Travelling anywhere beyond walking distance. 2. Leaving your children unsupervised outside when they're too young to understand danger.
