    Anyone watch Man U limp past FC Cluj :s. Pity we are not playing a team that are in action in Europe this week, it could help someone like Villa.

    Man City and Arsenal playing tonight both should win comfortably. Will be interestingto see if Billy starts against Blackburn. Saw the Derby game where he came on as sub. Looked to me as if he was trying too hard. Think his confidence has been knocked by the move?

    Looking at the Championship, the usual suspects are there or thereabouts. Perhaps Cardiff will make it this time. I find myself wistfully looking at these games...I think I've caught gomarchingin disease:smile:

    I think it's positive that so many of the clubs that were challenging us last year are in the mix again. Shows the gulf isn't that wide from the PL apart from the top half a dozen.

    Yes, I am missing those heady promotion battles too, it is only now that I realise just how spoilt we were over the last two seasons, the results in the Premier are definitely a reality check, I just hope we can learn how to cope without too much grief. There is a big gulf between the top half teams and the rest of the League, I am not convinced that this is good for the Premier League as it is so unbalanced. It was certainly not good for us being lumped with so many top teams to start with and tends to make us look worse than I suspect we actually are and has done nothing to help our confidence. Let's give it a few more games before we write ourselves off, but with constant negativity on here even I am tending towards pessimism, but I won't be bothering the Samaritans yet.

    Totally agree with this. Every season the top half a dozen clubs regularly put 4, 5 or 6 goals past other teams in the PL. Let's re-assess when we have played another 10 games. If we are bottom 3 by Christmas then we can take action in Jan. I'm still confident we will be OK.
