Genuine question asked in sincerity. Yes he has brought some good players to the club but are they performing??? Can't think of much more!!
"Any positives under the Hughes reign??" One most certainly, every day that passes brings its end closer.
Im anti Hughes for the following reasons. There has been little to no progress in results since his arrival. It was down to luck and not managerial ability that kept us up last season. His tactics are backwards in approach to games. He didn't address the desperate need for a centre back. He has not won an away game. We are bottom of the league. We have lost at home to two newly promoted teams. The signing of Green. Not playing Taraabt. Making Park captain. Wasting a pre season. Raising expectations (his own words) Claiming we will never be in another relegation battle! Giving us our worst start in history! I wouldn't care who it was, they would have to go!
It doesn't matter. The question is, why did you open up a new thread to ask a question you had already asked. We have all asked lots of questions which nobody has answered but we dont go opening new threads.
Get over it finglas!. If you didn't want to reply to it then you wouldn't have! I wanted the question to have its own thread, does that bother you?
Perhaps it's just my perception but compared to many other managers Hughes seems very distant/detached from his players. Even Wenger or Fergie occassionally praise one or two by name or offer support to them but with Hughes this hardly ever occurs. Anyone else notice this?
Imaz. I agree looks often like there is a lack of bond between Hughes and players and he seems to get aggravated with them very quickly. On the plus side. The run in at home last season was pretty impressive. We didn't really see wins against Liverpool spurs and arsenal coming did we?
True, but with most of the performances our players have put in since his arrival, there has been very few worthy of praise. I am also becoming more and more frustrated with MH by the day, but remember, a manager can only do so much. The players also have to take their fair share of the blame.
We would not of been able to sign the players we have done under Warnock Has anybody mentioned that the team still needs to gel
True....but it would be nice if Hughes were to play the players in the right positions and in the right formation.
Think you can also add: Selling Helgusson, without a replacment. Falling out with Luke young and being a bitch about it. Including Hogan in the squad. Lack of goals. Buying Injury prone players which have gone on to get injured. Being a greedy bastard Wasting massive amounts of other peoples money. Being Welsh The Germans etc...... Forgot to say he has my total backing for the next 2 games...
