OK... so what is the most favourite ground you have visited as an away fan?
who do you think has the best away fans in England?
what has been your favourite away match that you've been to?
who has had the best away fans that have come to the Bridge from England? (or any other home ground depending on your support)
have you ever been 'jumped on' or 'targeted' by home fans when on an away day?

For me... My favourite ground has to be the Emirates, the Hawthorns or The Etihad...
For the best away fans I think there are about 7 teams with top away fans in England; Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Leeds, Spurs, Newcastle. I hate to say it but I would say United have the best...
My favourite away match is either Preston away where we won 2-0 or maybe even Arsenal away on Saturday. I really enjoyed it and thought the atmosphere was superb. I also relly enjoyed Scarborough away in 2004 (?)
Best away fans to come to the Bridge would probably be United or maybe Liverpool. Any team that takes the full 6000 allocation in a cup game normally create a good atmosphere.
For the last question, heading to Old Trafford for the FA Cup semi final against Blackburn and me and my mate were walking down an alley near Old Trafford when some United fans came nad had a go at us. Chucking bricks etc. at us... Bloomin Mancs!

Done a tour of the bernabeu and that was amazing but didn't get the chance to go to a game so i'd have to say Emirates, best pitch i've ever seen in football and a beautiful stadium.

Millwall,West Ham,United,Leeds,Stoke are all very loud.

Newcastle last season was very good, i love geordie girls, nice stadium, friendly newcastle fans and we won 3-0 ! Very good weekend.

I'd probably say Stoke in the league, when we beat them 7-0 they were still singing non stop and making a hell of a lot of noise. Aside from league games i thought Liverpool fans were very loud in the CL semi a few years back. And i don't think anyone can top Liverpools support on CL nights, very impressive and so loud and something they should be extremely proud of and makes me jealous.

And no actually haven't as it goes, although i am quite a jack the lad once i've had a few drinks and get along with people well

Got a particular liking for that stadium in Munich. I find most fans OK, always a few drop kicks of course, but most seem to have a sensible outlook, until they come on our site !!

I've always enjoyed the trip to Fulham! The ground's got so much character! I like Villa Park too, but its in such a grim neighbourhood! I like being at Anfield when we're winning and the Kop goes silent!

Best: Etihad, OT (outsinging 70k is a great feeling), Anfield, Hawthorns and 3 pt Lane (they really love us there)

Worst: St James' (simply because they stick us so ****ing high up <laugh>), There are probably worse but I hate heights!

As usual you have hit the spot. Fulham is probably the last of the real old fashioned stadiums. Crappy, run down, years out of date, and all the better for it.
Reminds us of our roots, and where we all come from. Just a plain old place to watch football, with no concession to the big money merchants that now control the game. Not sure we have really made things better.
Please dismiss as the ramblings of a dinosaur.

I would say that Everton is more old fashioned surely? Wooden benches to sit on etc! Fulham is good to go to but it's farking freezing being there by the river!

I'm not a fan of Arsenal Away nor United

Best: Etihad - Proper fans, proper club, nice ground and City centre is walking distance

Worst: Old Trafford - Could go on all day about how **** it is

I do like Upton Park, probably my favourite London away. I like WHL because it's Spurs but the area/ground is a ****hole

St Andrews is decent as well as the Stadium of Light.

I rate our away fans highly but it depends where it's at. At QPR/Fulham/Palace it's not all that and Arsenal at times too but for games like Spurs, West Ham, United etc it's excellent. United away in the CL was brilliant and we took 3700 midweek with no trains running back afterwards

I don't think people say that enough to be honest. One of the best bits about going to a game is when you can have a pint and a chat with opposition fans and as you say the vast majority are sound. I'm a Watford fan myself but when we used to play you you always took a huge following to Vicarage Road and were very very loud.

Away games are always better because even clubs with smaller support like ours tend to be a bit louder - it's that sort of siege mentality thng I guess.

I'd say we make a decent noise at Craven Cottage. The atmos at last year's WLD was great, the Fulham fans in paticular were very noisy.

In effect we get 7k at Fulham as we get the 3500 Chelsea tickets and take most of the 3500 neutral too.

It is a fantastic ground with lots of character and a fantastic setting by the river....and it is much easier to get a good atmos going there than characterless stadia such as Loftus Road.

Seen some amazing turnouts and atmos at Selhurst Park too

I have to say, I thought our support on Saturday was brilliant. For a 12.45 kick off at the Emirates, it's hard to create a decent atmosphere and I thought we did very well.

At Fulham we normally make a lot of noise but I was a bit disappointed about our vocal support at Loftus Road this season. It could have been a lot louder. I think we are always loud when we are away at a club from the Midlands. At WBA, Birmingham, Villa we are always loud...

I'd really like to go to Vicarage Road. It seems very old fashioned and atmospheric.

Going to away matches is so much easier than in the 70s & 80s when getting back to new st station from st andrews was like a scene from the film warriers.Nowadays you can drink in most teams pubs before a game without any mither so long as you behave and are respectful
The big 3 london clubs tend to be the noisiest at the Etihad other than the rags but you would expect them to be loud for a derby.
Dont care much for the Emirates, its like going to the cinema and much prefer Goodison, villa pk and anfield

Etihad is jumping mate; best away atmos I saw as a Chelsea fan was at your place last season... by miles. Your boys sucked those two second half goals in.

Enjoy it mate, I wish we had your noise at SB. Pleased we are in your top away fans.
