Congratulations to Totton saint who is this weeks weekly winner with 13 points. Toton saint was already leading the September league and is the runaway monthly champion. Totton saint also has a healthy lead in the season total. he is definately the one to catch. All 3 tables below.

It seemed a difficult week for predictions of correct scores this week with most points coming in the bonus questions. Only popmpey, newcastle and bonnyrigg rose scored after 75mins and so 3ts for all those predicting them. A number of correct goalscorers for torres and ba and well done to crba who chose remirez of saints as a goalscorer and totton saint who went for jelavic. In the bonus goals it was again the saints game that scored best with 4 along with reading v newcastle. The brighton and the stirling university games were the worst with just one goal.

other mentions to joe steinberg and beef dripping who both correctly predicted the exact 3-1 saints score, sfc jordi the only one to predict the stirling university exact score and chrismarsdenfootballgenius and st nom the only two to predict the 1-2 arsenal chelsea score.

Cheers RWMK and well done to Totton Saint.... 55 is a massive score for the month (average 14 pts per week!) I can't see that score being beaten.

Not sour grapes or anything, but surely Totton Saint should get minus points for selecting Jelavic? Not to mention double minus points as he scored two!!!!

With our defence it gives you 3 easy points picking the top scorer from the opposition.
Although with the games coming up i will be ditching that tactic now,hopefully it will pay off.
It hurts as much getting the Pompey score right when they win.

Funny you should say that,i used to run a betting tipline,went ok for about 6 months,then hit a bad run of form and everyone left.

 

See 2 punters put half a mill on the final day on Europe winning the Ryder Cup. The odds were terrific, but you have to be able to shrug off a loss of 500K. I have no betting spirit as I won't risk more than a fiver on anything and then only once every couple of years. The bookies took a caning because Woods conceded the last hole (shame).

 

Was that horses or all sports? Very hard to win all the time. Even the best tipsters hit long losing runs occasionally.

 

I nearly made a killing betting on the Ryder Cup, I had a £2 acca on Donald, Poulter, McIlroy, Rose, Garcia, Westwood and McDowell to win their singles matches @ 210/1 that would've won me a cool £420. Unfortunately McDowell couldn't manage to turn his match around...

Yeah, just a bit..........At least I had the consolation of watching Europe win and it was fun watching the points coming in one by one.

 

Greyhounds mainly,i used to own a load of dogs that ran at Pompey,and also at Crayford.
