    Blimey Weighty!

You normally go for a 3 or 4 goal win!

It'll be our best attacking performance all season as we go 3-0 up before half time, decide to settle for 3 and sit back resulting in us losing 5 - 3

Thanks, wish I had wagered a few quid on it! Although I think you misunderstand the tone of my post. I do not view a draw with Brighton as a triumph at all. I am annoyed that under the current clegg/jewell regime such results are viewed by THEM as an achievement. My point is that unfortunately we have become a substandard championship side in the last few years. A rapid decline that will take a lot longer to reverse. Bring back the heady days of Royle, Burley, Lyall etc. As for the REAL glory years of Sir Bobby and Sir Alf, well I am just glad that tv and written evidence exists to prove that those days really did happen.

Finally a sensible post. I absolutely agree with you. The club has been absolutely ruined over recent times and I don't think that the likes of Evans, or particularly Clegg, have done us any real favours at all. I would love to be watching games that inspired me and watching football of a standard to be proud of but unfortunately, for the time being at least, that isn't happening.

Lousy league position to be in at the moment, and not becoming of our club but, in other circumstances, I really do think that we would be thinking that the last two results weren't at all bad.

Staying positive, rightly or wrongly, as I can't see any quick fix even if PJ were to go.

JIT I agree with your last post except the last line. You cant see any fix whether PJ stays or goes and thats a reason to be positive?

Im glad we are now unbeaten in two. Im happy that we put in a decent display against a very good team in Brighton. Im happy that it looks like we have found some solidity to our game (can we get Higginbotham here for longer?) and they are hopefully small steps to getting us away from a worrying league position but even if we do climb safely to mid table then big questions still need answering and the two people who can give answers either wont (Evans) or cant because hes not interested in Football (Clegg) Thats no reason for positivity is it?
