Mourinho wants to manage the biggest clubs in the world. Hes done one and theres one left ( he himself doesnt seem to consider Barcelona one of those clubs ).

United are the other.

He will never manage City though. They are beneath him. He would be bigger than the club aswell.

He wont go to either of those clubs. He has been at Chelsea and to be fair was treated like **** by the owner despite being their greatest ever manager. He mentions he is still friends with Roman but I wouldnt take it to seriously. When he comes back to England part of it will be to remind Roman how stupid he is.

City as I said are beneath him. People assume because he managed money bags Chelsea that he will always go that route. You need to remember where he came from before that and who he was. He was a relatively unknown manager just a few years before taking the Chelsea job. Now hes arguably one of the biggest names in football management history. City would be a step back for him and the only wild speculation in this thread is that he would manage them.

Delusion.

He goes where BIG money to spend is freely available to him, he wont get that luxury from the penny pinching Glazers.

City or a 2nd spell at Chelsea and Moyes to succeed Ferguson.<ok>

I wish Fergie would hurry up and leave. Not for the time-honoured reason that he's an annoying old get, but because I'm genuinely interested to see what happens to Utd when he does go.

Yeh.............no...... just plain old no.

How much did he spend at Inter? I dont really know but I dont recall them being much of a money club tbh.

Chelsea are the only 'money club' hes managed and they were the step up from Porto to the big time ( though they are pretty big themselves, probably bigger than Chelsea at the time in a far smaller league ).

Real Madrid are not a money club, they are the biggest club in the world and happen to have lots of money from legit and sometime less than legit sources.

Have you ever considered the fact Fergie doesnt spend silly money every summer is for a number of reasons.

1. Hes retiring soon so why buy players that the next manager may not want just to stroke his own ego?
2. By not spending silly money every window when the next manager takes over the funds are there/available.
3. United dont need to change their team ever year. Thats something small clubs do to try and pretend they are a big club ( City )

Not saying any are the case but these things are well discussed. Fergie isnt a manager to spend £100million a year, not his style. We have topped £50million in spending the last few years though so we are hardly penny pinching though no doubt your next post will be about players sold etc....

Agree with the first paragraph more than the second. Chelsea: he's been there and done that. I'm sure he has residual affection for the club but there seems some friction still with Abramovich. With Man City, however, he would have the best squad in the premiership and he just has the then strengthen it slightly and tweak it to fight for both the premiership and the champions league. He'll want to challenge again in Europe (once he's won it with Real Madrid!) to cement him as the Champion's League most successful manager (won with most clubs).

I knew I wasn't the only one. ;)

By the end of the transfer window, he had brought three new players to the side: Brazilian winger Mancini (€13 million),[44][45] Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari for reported €14 million,[46] and Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma for a cash/player exchange fee of €18.6 million plus young Portuguese midfielder Pelé

. Adriano left Inter in April 2009, and the exit of the Brazilian striker was followed by the Argentine duo Julio Cruz and Hernán Crespo. Legendary Portuguese attacking midfielder and veteran Luís Figo retired. Figo was on the verge of leaving Inter under Mancini due to a lack of playing time but in his final season, Mourinho used him frequently. Mourinho signed Argentine striker Diego Milito, who fell just one goal short of winning the top scorer award with Genoa, as well as Thiago Motta and Wesley Sneijder, to bolster the midfield. Perhaps his most notable signing of the summer of his second season was a swap deal of Zlatan Ibrahimović for FC Barcelona's Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o and a reported 35 million pound transfer fee also went to Inter.

Forgot about that looney deal with Eto'o and Ibra, ****ing Barca had their pants pulled down on that one.

As much as I dislike the scum, gotta stick up for utd there. Sir alex does run everything properly and gives youngsters a chance and now pensioners it would seem. Can't complain about him signing rvp, I would have loved if we could have done the same. At least they aren't like the chav, where they literally give their youth no chance whatsoever as they buy 3 players for every position.

Wahaaay wondered when you would come with you usual genius contribution. Thanks for not letting anyone down <laugh>

Anyway RVP is a short term signing, I agree. The first hes done since...... Larrson maybe?

Usually he plans way into the future, many members of our squad were signed years ago before they were 20 which is about all I need to say on the matter.

Was his spending stupidly big. Some fairly big players left while he was there and needed replacing so was it spending of the City and Chelsea or now PSG kind?

He also tends to spend quite well when he does unlike other managers of money clubs who spend for the sake of spending.

I agree in part and not on others.

As I quite clearly explained.

Next time I shall increase the font size to 7 for you so its a little clearer as I am a nice guy and believe in helping the afflicted <ok>

The last part is wishful thinking btw and just makes it more embarrassing for each manager who finishes below United. They are probably in the wrong job if some senile ****er betters them. Would you agree?

If Mourhino was to take over at OT this summer do you think he would be happy with the squad Fergie left him?.

Wouldn't you expect him to make any changes?, Fergie wants to leave his legacy and empire safe in somebody's hands that would do just that , Moyes would be ideal for that but Mourhino wouldn't.

Spent probably on average about 15 mil per player but he idd have a team that was set. If I remember right he also bought Lucio who was a MONSTER for them in the back. This was just from Wiki so probably doesn't have all the correct facts or figures but was just putting out what it said he bought in those first few years.

Forgot he had Baressi as an assistant no wonder Barca had trouble with them.

I suspect he would be quite pleased. He would sign a midfielder or 2 I have no doubt and maybe bring a few of 'his' players with him as he tends to do.

in attack he would have zero complaints.

And maybe he will bring Ronaldo home :D.

Be honest, if he took over would you hate us more or less than you do now? I suspect more as you want a Moyes to take over dont you <laugh>

You may now commence your next stupid reply <ok> Dont let me down, stupider the better <ok>

Bringing in a few of his players is not an option UIR because a few of his players would cost more than the Glazers would part with.

I don't care is Moyes takes over tbh, but hes been touted by a lot of people in the game as the perfect successor to Fergie, given the choice i'd hope you got either Bruce or Allardyce.

Mourinho would get money, I tried to explain a page back about it. Only a theory but makes sense.
