    It'd have to be something a bit more believable I reckon. Andy Carroll spotted having a scuffle in a nightclub, that sort of thing. Nothing big but enough so that he will continue being known as a 'badboy'.

    Yeah needs to be subtle and like Acid-Hippo says; lots of messages but with subtle variations so it sounds like the rumour is widespread and not coming from one source and always with the exact same terminology.

    So one says;

    "Impressed with Suarez's performances for Liverpool Real Madrid will make a sensational £30 bid for the Uruguayan star this summer"

    The next says;

    "Real Madrid are planning on bringing the influential Uruguayan striker Suarez to the Bernabau this summer, Barcelona and Inter Milan are also said to be interested"

    And so on and so on!

    Won't take long before some useless hack who is late for a deadline picks it up and runs with it and then other papers will jump on the bandwagon not wanting to miss a scoop and before you know it we will have global media domination! Haha! <devil>

    The Shearer/Logan thread reached the media because of the volume of 606'ers that took an active part in it.

    Start a thread that will create the same kind of interest and some hack will pick it up and use it.

    I think that was only picked up because people were also searching for stuff about Shearer + Logan though? So unless people are actually searching for stories of Carroll being a tit or Suarez leaving Liverpool, it won't be picked up. God knows.

    Breaking news from the Newcastle Evening Chronicle.

    A chamber maid in an exclusive London Hotel has revealed that after knocking on a room door and getting no answer she went into the room to change the bed and found Carroll,Logan and Shearer in a compromising situation.
