If we do bid, how much do you reckon we'll bid?

It will take a lot of money for him to come here IMO, a lot of other clubs will be aware of this situation and will be monitoring it, and it will take a lot to lure him here if City or the Chavs are sniffing around.

Think 20 mil will do, especially if he is unhappy. Would need to get Pepe, ENrique, Suarez to get on the phone with him and let him know about the place. He seems like the guy that wants to play as well so that should be a big factor at the other places he could be 2nd or 3rd choice or just an "option"

Chelsea will get Falcao so wouldn't worry about them or rather........... ****!

That's true, he'd be our first choice striker if he came here.

    Sterling Llorente Suarez

Looks good to me, as well having options of Suso on the right and Assaidi on the left.

Of course, I'm not getting ahead of myself at all <whistle>

Had a lecture today from Phil Scraton, one of the independent advisors on the Hillsborough panel.

Very down to earth, witty guy; only mentioned Hillsborough in passing (it was an introductory lecture) but he's doing a talk on the panel's findings soon that I might go to.

  10. I just don't get why we would go in for Llorente after letting Carroll go? They are similar players but at different stages of their careers.

  12. Great result for Celtic tonight. Taking the lead only to go 2-1 behind, they then came bag to win it in the ninetieth minute <ok>

Yeah, watched it and agree Dev, the referee for the best part of 90 minutes did all he could to help Spartak win.<grr>

  14. I didn't watch it (busy painting the bathroom) but just saw the result. I was looking for the Man Utd and Chelsea line-ups, Torres is playing for me tonight, hoping he bags a few against FC Nordsjaelland <ok>

I think I will, if they tell us measly first years the time and place.

There's a book out (£7 on Amazon) about the findings, also.

If I go I'll definitely write out my notes, or the slides from the lecture etc etc.

Ouch Ouch ouch, Puyol just either snapped his arm or dislocated at the elbow or both. It looked brutal. Really tough for him, just came back from injury.
