This is daft, do we really need 6 days to talk about an upcoming match? Some people don't seem to be able to handle the idea of someone getting in before them...

I think Beddy said it wouldn't get stickied until 2-3 days before a Saturday game. If we don't want to talk about it we won't post and this thread won't get stickied. TBF to RLGB it's going to be very quiet this week so all we have to discuss is the Saints game on Sunday and the rest of this weeks matches.

I cannot see what the issue is here, as soon as one game is history I want to discuss the next one. What exactly is the problem with that?

Real strange one as he seemed fine after the Villa game, just completely knackered. I saw him in person after the game. Huge blow for us if he's out long term

I do hyperbole, litotes, puns, wit, irony, oxymorons, every weapon in the armoury but not sarcasm, that's the poorest form of wit!

It can be in the right context, I grant you that, I love a good round of puns, the worse they are the better I like them, especially if they have fishy content, but I will skate around that bit.

Quoting Oscar Wilde is the ultimate mark of a moron who can't muster up a witty rebuttal. It's on the same level as a brainless insult.

Pretty much everything you say is a pun. Whenever you post something serious, I spend far too long reading and re-reading your comment because I feel like I must have missed a joke.

Definitely. In the right hands, it can be the best kind of wit.
