My PS3 says it can't connect to the EA servers cos it can't retrieve my account settings... grr. Quite a lot you can't do without an internet connection it would seem!
The be a pro season is a little weird. Started at Saints went on loan to swindon, scored twenty in a season(simed most my games). When I returned to Saints they had been relegated and so I was quickly sold to WBA. Played 4 games in half a season before Inter signed me in Jan.
PS3? I think everyone who has commented would happily give you a game, strangely enough I've never played any of them yet though!
Today in my free pack, I got Podolski, then later I got Cole, then Barzagli, and now Cavani! Tbh, I did waste a lot of my coins opening packs today, but I think it's been worth it!
Im really enjoying career mode, on fifa 09/10/11 i got bored of career mode, but this year i now nearly completed my first season. Gaston and ricky are the best its goals goals goals. Yeah I like career mode as well, although... Gaston has gone from hero to zero by requesting a transfer... I've heard though if you offer them for a loan it works. So a short-term loan to Man City it is... And we'll see.

Southampton, Swindon(loan), West Brom, Inter and now Lyon.
I got Benzema in my starting packs that i got for being a returning customer, sold him for 50k during early release week, bought an amazing premier league team, sold it all, now i have about 200k and a silver championship team.
