If you think about it we've only signed one player who can score goals since we signed Torres way back in 2007. And that's Suarez who isn't exactly consistent! And how many players have we signed in that time for huge fees? Aquilani, Downing, Henderson, Carroll, Meireles, Keane and Babel. How much spent on all of them? £130m or so? And barely any goals between them. You understand why we've not qualified for the CL in 3 seasons when you look at that list!
Exactly. If Suarez was consistent when it came to scoring goals just think how much of a beast he'd be
Suarez is a good player and does have the ability to find the goal BUT if he cut cheating out of his game, he would be a far superior player I admit other players do it but if they didnt they would be looked upon as better players
Totally agree. we really need a complimenting 20-goal-per-season striker for Suarez. Somebody that will be around for those chances that Suarez creates/misses.
Cheating? Suarez is no cheat. People need to stop accusing him because the accusations are false. Sure he had diving problems when he first arrived in England, but he soon cut them out (it wasnt successful diving any way).
So? You played Norwich on the 17 September 2011 and the 7 April 2012. What's your point? We scored 5 goals, twice, in two recent games. After a goal drought we're happy to be in the goals again. Doesn't matter who they came against. You'd celebrate if Everton put 5 past any team, don't say you wouldn't. And you'd be right to celebrate. Most teams would.
Just checked the BBC's site and look at the top scorers page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/top-scorers Seriously! WTF! Where is Suarez? Do they not even read their own web pages?
Yeah,I noticed that earlier.Don't know whats going on but the BBC footy page is all over the place at the mo. On Saturday evening their prem. standings had us on 8 points having played 7 games.
The bbc sports site is poor. For several hours on saturday they had several results wrong on their listing, including having us as 2-0 winners at Norwich and Man City as a draw when they actually won.
