How many Saints fans would have thought we would be in the relegation zone by now

I had us down for 4 points at this stage given the fixtures, so 3 is not far off at all but still sub-optimal in Nigel speak.

I wouldn't worry too much about what everyone else is doing just yet. Swansea started with a 5-0 win and now they can't get a point from anywhere, so there's still plenty of twists to come. Big game (they all are really) coming up next week against Fulham who are good, but have had some mixed results.

 

We may be in the relegation zone in a couple of hours...

Good news, for the short term anyway.

 

The big month is November, October we should aim for three or four points but it is November that will give us a better insight into our predicament.

 

Feels a bit like last season. We are staying out of the relegation zone whatever we do. Last season we stayed in top two regardless.
