For some reason I have always hated West Ham, so a victory tonight would be particularly sweet. Don't know whether he's fit or not and of course he's got his shortcomings, but I still feel that Adel needs to be in the side. He is probably the only player in the squad, in my opinion, that he capable of drawing in the opposition and finding that killer pass that perhaps other players wouldn't try. Maybe playing Adel in a central position leaves us a little exposed in the middle, but I certainly think he could do a role drifting in off the left. Adding Diakate's physicality to the central midfield position would hopefully make up for this. TEAM. GK. Cesar DEFENCE Dyer Nelson Hill Left back ? Not too sure who's fit at the moment. MIDFIELD Faurlin Granero Diakate Adel (left) Hoilett (right) Cisse (despite Zamora's goals, still the greater threat in my opinion)
Have to disagree on one part, I generally dont believe we are a better 'team' than west ham, we may have better individuals yes, but a 'team', sadly I think not. Absolutely hate west ham though and think we're due a win, so us by a goal also.
Just got off the team bus at Loftus Rd! ------------------------------------------------------------- Let's do this, see you on the other side
I see this game is live on TSN here in Canada @ 4:00pm (8:00pm London time), so right now I am plotting how to quietly nip out of the office an hour earlier than usual today?
Ok, it's 4.15am, just heading downstairs to watch. While you are all buzzing at the ground, think of us Down Under - we are there in spirit. URsssssss. Queenslander, it's a bit early for a pre game pint, although I've probably still got some in me from after work last night. Predicted 2-1, Zam to score. Had a feeling it might be 3-0 though.
Two extremes - you getting up early, me skipping off work early. 3:32pm for me - planning my exit to catch the 4:00pm KO here. My brother lives in Melbourne - bloody retired banker! Like my dad & grandad before me I was always a true blood R's fan, but my brother never cared for it, so it was always just dad & myself at the games. I think cricket & rugby is more his thing.
It's gonna be packed and it's gonna be noisy and in 2 hours time I'll have lost my voice. Come on you soooooooperrrrrrrrr......
Good omen to see Cisse start. The first thing my son said when he came home from school today was that they had played the QPR-WH game at school and that he was Cisse and they won 1-0 C'mon Rangers!
Here we go again! Yet another total defensive cock up. Just before their goal we took a horrible free kick, then twice coughed up the ball. Let's get Hoilett & Taarabt on.
