A Race in Thailand on a street circuit? That would be interesting considering the flooding they have over there. Great opprtunity to pick up a Thai bride! <laugh>

I can't understand why there isn't a race in Scandanavia. Surely since there have been World Champion from Finland, surely a track would be suitable there? It would be nice to see.

Also, the way it's going.. lots of street tracks proposed for oncoming years.

Thailand would be really interesting. Dunno how feasible it'd be though.

Being an American, I have to say, I find it funny that the new street circuit is called the Grand Prix of Jersey. Yes! The great nation of Jersey! With their guidos and obnoxious people! I dunno what you'd call it though since the one in Austin will be called the The Grand Prix of USA, but the name just seems silly to me.

Also, yay no Valencia! Was never a huge fan, always been a bit bored by that race. Wish they'd bring back some of the older tracks I always drove on in my old F1 game. I get them trying to have tracks all over the world though, at least from a marketing perspective.

I thought they were calling the race in New Jersey 'The Grand prix of the Americas' i.e like the european GP but for the North and South americas... The confusing thing is... The USA GP will be held on the 'circuit of the americas' in texas.

Paul Ricard is so close to Monaco that if they were adjacent on F1's calendar, Jenson Button would probably choose his bicycle for the journey.

Don't take Wikipedia as a credible source, however I'm sure F1 will return there sooner rather than later.

Ah, sorry.. wasn't using that as the source of where I heard it.. just using that as a source of what the track looks like..
I always liked that track, track seems to flow nicely, great final banked curve, I for one would like to see a return there, who knows, if Perez starts to win races and becomes a genuine contender, a return may be on the cards?

    No need to apologise. :p

Maybe with Perez going to McLaren and if Gutierrez gets in a Sauber seat then the likelihood of it happening will rise even more. Of course with Bernie it will all come down to money. But yes I would like to Mexico back on the calender.

Don't forget F1 is going back to Argentina, France, and South Africa. Possibly. Allegedly. Maybe.

Is the Thai GP for real then or is it just a rumour built on Hermann Tilke been spotted dancing with lady boys?

Would be nice to see any of those make a return to the sport. Also, besides its similarity to Catalunya, Estoril always looked like a great track to drive on, or at least it did from any of Senna's onboard laps!
