    From you guys.

    1. To the ref, you guys were accusing him of bias towards liverpool even before the game (one even started a thread because lived only 20 miles away), and not being funny he was more than biased towards you guys.

    2. To Brendan Rodgers, you said he had told his players to dive, from what i saw they were the ones that were being cheated.

    3. To Me, did i not say that Brendan's actions could work against them, and i got shouted down as normal for being a wum. I'm sorry but i don't think i could have been more correct if i had watched the game beforehand!

    ^^ This

    ^^ and this

A bit of banter is fine, but this is becoming an obsession. More akin to spamming in my opinion.

So there wasn't anybody on here that didn't say they expected the ref to give a soft penalty to liverpool because of King Brendan making that call?

And some didn't start a thread complaining of the ref living only 20 miles away? is that not true?

    1. i was wrong. i thought the ref would give them a stone wall penalty and as it happens he didn't when he should have. i will apologise to the ref for that. didn't think the ref had a bad game other than the pen (didn't have much to do to be fair) though he fell for numerous suarez injury feigns which were getting ridiculously frequent by the full time whistle. you know the ones - where he gets tackled fairly, goes down clutching his face or leg, looks around, gets no decision, jumps straight back up again then runs full pelt towards the ref or our player. brilliant player, unbelievable cheat and thats why he didn't get his penalty when he should have. doesn't make it right though - refs should give decisions based on what they see, not on reputation. we had the same issue with huckerby who i don't think ever won a penalty for us despite numerous blatant fouls in the box.

    2. you obviously didn't see glenn johnson take off like a swan in flight then. one of the most embarrassing dives ever seen at carrow road <doh>

    3. it is suarez's actions they are paying for, not rodgers. lets come back to it in ten games time and see how the decisions are panning out.

    4. utterly idiotic thread guru. i understand your team got mullered 1-1 at the weekend by one of the favourites to go down. big problems down your way. imagine how embarrassed you'd be if the year we went down from the premier league your own team falls through their own trap door.

I think 2 or 3 people out of what 100+ users on here said those things guru, hardly unanimous

a few were worried about a soft penalty being given, that didn't happen and most of us know that the barnett one should have been given, it looked stonewall.

if you want a fight, then probably your board is the best place for it, plently of in-fighting on there.

supers, fair call for manning up.

Canary max, I would say it was probably 75% to 25% in favour of a soft penalty being given. Not being funny but if Norwich supporters didn't have the habit of playing the victim card so often now, this thread wouldn't have even entered my mind.

guru, if your team ever make it back into this league, you'll quickly discover that if you aren't one of the big clubs, decisions seem to go against you more often than not. i'm not talking about the big ones, i'm talking about things like the ball going out of play and not being given, free kicks wrongly given, corners awarded wrongly... all these things add up and wind supporters up and it happens every single game! trust me when i say, the bigger clubs get the benefit of the doubt more than the smaller clubs - i think this has even been proven in studies before. it may look like whinging out of context but if you had to put up with it week in, week out, you'd soon start to feel aggrieved. we got away with one on saturday, no question - you'd be a fool to say otherwise, but then we should have had a stone wall penalty at spurs which cost us a victory, so its evened out on the big calls so far.

so seriously guru, if that had happened against someone town were playing (the opposing manager coming out with something similar), you wouldn't have been worried about a conceeeding soft penalty??

i doubt the other 18 clubs in the league would have reacted any differently.

EDIT: supers has explained this point exactly.

    1. Haven't seen the penalty decision yet so I won't comment on it yet.

    2. After the game I would say that Glen Johnson is a good candidate for the Olympics in 2016 (something the media have seemed to ignore) as well as Suarez going down too easily and suddenly his ankle's fine when the ball comes is way. What a miraculous recovery!

    3. Don't be so pathetic!

I would worry about it AFTER the game, not start making theories up before.

Speaking about explaining things well, did you hear Mick McCarthy give his reasoning behind Second Season Syndrome MOTD? certainly made perfect sense to me.

While i'm on about Norwich playing the victim card, did i not read on here somebody moaning because MOTD put you on second because you lost! you tell me that i'm imagining it!

Erm... I seem to remember lots of very conspicuous red cards and penalties going the way of Norwich courtesy of Grant Holt's antics that saw you scrape into that league in the first place.

Cnary max, its only getting tedious because the shoe is on the other foot for a change. ITFC posters have had to take a lot over the past couple of years, so its only fair you get some back.

We lost 5-2 at home to a team that hadn't won this season, whilst you got a fantastic point at Barnsley, yet this is the best you can come up with?

    Bonkers!
