HUGHES WAITS ON ADEL PUBLISHED 09:00 30th September 2012 by @OfficialQPR Taarabt could feature against the Hammers Obviously we need to start seeing games out and once we do that Iâm confident our fortunes will change." Mark Hughes MARK Hughes could call upon Adel Taarabt for Monday nightâs live Sky Sports showdown against West Ham United at Loftus Road. Taarabt - who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury - has returned to first team training and could be an option for the visit of the Hammers to W12. âAdel might be an option for us,â Hughes told www.qpr.co.uk. âIf he comes through training he could be in and around the squad. âArmand (Traore) is nearing a return, but Monday will come too soon for him. âOther than that, weâre as we were in terms of injuries.â Rangers will go searching for their first league victory of the campaign tomorrow night, but Hughes isnât about to press the panic button, despite seeing his side fail to register a win from their opening five fixtures of the season. âFor the most part this season our performances have been fine, up to a point,â he said. âObviously we need to start seeing games out and once we do that Iâm confident our fortunes will change. âDefensively weâve had too much of a turnover in terms of selection and personnel changes and that doesnât help when youâre striving for consistency. âWeâre not going to hide behind the fact that it hasnât been a good start, but weâre only five games into the season.â Hughes added: âThe way me and my staff work is that we donât get too high and donât get too low after a game. âWe prepare our team meticulously and give them the best chance to be successful. In the long term thatâs been proved in all the teams Iâve been involved in. âAt the moment itâs difficult because I canât get consistency in terms of my selection.â
All he's saying is that Adel could be "in and around the squad". I expect him to start with Park and SWP out wide and Hoilett off Zamora. Cisse and Taarabt, if fit on the bench.
So do I, as near to the starting 11 against Spurs as we can. Dyer maybe the the only change from that line up
