It was plod free IN the ground yesterday, which was an improvement BUT if they've got so many surplus officer hours they can waste them on the walkway (the one there has never been any trouble on) why not get them to at least serve the public by removing the **** that the horses leave all over it?
One day someone will slip on that and sue them. There's no need. It smacks of contempt.

I saw the coppers laughing at that. They knew people were walking through it,and they seemed delighted, like kids.

Not just pavements and parks, but virtually anywhere, the difference apparently is that there's specific legislation for dogs due to the risk associated with their turds that don't exist in horse ****.

I asked the council bod if I would be allowed to empty my grass cuttings on the walk way and obviously the answer was I would run the risk of a fine if I did. He just spluttered when I asked why it made a difference if the grass had been through a horse first. I guess unless it's a young girl with a sausage roll, they're scared to tackle anyone that would challenge them.

What makes it worse is that it has to be more than coincidence as it happens too regularly. Also, the horse are of no value on the walkway as they get spooked on the bridge and can't be used in the confined space so they don't need to be up there in the first place.

I wonder how many of those coppers had the gumption to raise their hand at the pre-match meeting where they were told to line up like an advert for ARCO and ask the Officer in charge "why?"

It makes them look stupid and contemptuous. There are now all those Officer hours short when someone rings for assistance on a real crime.

I would be too. It would be such a jolly, merry time sitting on my horse, proud and ecstatic that I get to sit back and watch hundreds of people walk through my horses poo. It's the stuff of dreams.

Well as Im sure they read these forums and followed your advice on policing inside the stadium, I can guarantee they'll start cleaning up after their horses.

Why do they need horses at a football match anyway ? To be honest they just use football as an excuse for somebody to pay them to exercise the horses

I wondered why there were some many plod on the walkway and on the route back to station. Had they being given a tip-off that the Peterboro massif were going to kick off? Honestly you couldn't make it up. Humberside police s**t for brains.
