I went down for the lads on 39 mins, by the time i got served, we missed the sending off and the goal! Same sh1t v liverpool, the club hasnt thought this through, we thought the liverpool fiasco might have had something to do with the safc rewards vouchers, nope! Just a total friggin shambles!
I used to work in them bars... Just saying but the management don't take into consideration how many fans have to be served in such short time... Such as you have to prepare all of the salad for the burgers, as well as the buns and then cook them whilst everything else in the bar is going on It is an utter shambles of management but they didn't like taking our comments much...
Its equally as ****e in the Premier concourse mate. Shambolic with a bunch of kids operating the bars, kiosks etc with minimal supervision and organisation. Pathetic for a Premiership club looking to maximise its revenue.
My thoughts exactly, they dont even have pints ready, one of the lads collared milliband as he walked through from the family zone, he said "we are looking at it" Its a disgrace!!
I complained direct to Quinny about 3 seasons ago about the shambles of the bars under the North Stand, we were absolutely fed up with the service, with some spotty faced moron, probably a student on work experience trying to serve beer, we have given up now and don't even bother with a pint at half time. Apparently at Middlesbrough they have machines that can pull 6 pints at a time, why can't we have them and instruct the bar staff to have about 200 pints ready at each bar for the half time rush, also make the price of pint maybe £2.50 , something that can easlily be worked out if someone orders more than one, the idiots behind the bars haven't got a clue.
Join the cue mate, pun very much intended. The club have royally f'd up the south stand singing section, we are segregated in on one side a wall for the disabled access and on the other side the fence to separate the family zone. Although there is a door in the fence it makes no difference as you can't get moved in the family zone. In our section we have 3 bottle bars to serve something like 3 thousand people, its a shambles. I managed to colour the catering manager and he said they are looking to into it and are looking to implement changes for the next match including a proper queing system and ob
Ill tell you what else is a disgrace in the south stand everybody standing. I personally don't mins a bit of standing but when its persistant and you have a small child with you its a bit beyond a joke. After 20 mins i located a few seats in the north stand and walked all the way round the ground so we could actually watch the match without selfish tossers in the way. I said moving the away fans was a big mistake and i have been proven correct. The north stand is no a ghost town and the south stand although now full is now just a health and safety nightmare.
and one extra bottle bar. I told him what they needed was more staff and pre poured PINTS, i don't want to pay 3.30 for half a pint in a plastic bottle and miss 10 minutes of the match. They need beer only bars as this would cut the time for people buying food. Yes i know people like food and drink together but they can have those bar aswell. They must know how much they sell and could quite easily pre pour the pints, its not as if they'd be sitting there going flat, a matter of minutes tops. I dont like to knock staff but they were slow yesterday, how long does it take to get a bottle of beer and till up? The guy said that upward of 50 staff didn't show yesterday which added to the problems. If it doesn't improve its nt worth leaving ya seat at half time so the club are losing money and im losing a nice part of my match day experience
The match day experience is what its all about, in fact i've decided to write to the club, which e-mail gets a response???
