I expected four points from the first two games followed by three defeats. Even with the team Hughes has put together it's a huge ask to get anything from City, Chelsea or Spurs. I've not looked at the table but four points would presumably put us 15th/16th. There are teams with more points than us who you could argue are further behind where they would expect to be than us given the teams they've played. If we're still in this position after another five games then I'll be concerned but I think it's far too early at the moment.
Is it worth mentioning that the team we outplayed, and were unlucky to lose to last week, just won at Old Trafford? Now is not the time for panic
Not to mention the team we more than matched won at Arsenal. Then again, the team that beat us 5-0 lost to Stoke.
Is my memory rubbish or do we generally do badly when we're live on Sky? Having said that - the only way is up right?
The table is never meaningless!! We are bottom of the league end of. If we don't get 3 points on Monday night then i don't know where we will get any from! The ironic thing is, warnocks position was under threat this time last year and we were in a better position! I would love to see Hughes make it work and hope he has the balls to play taraabt!
Not great being bottom but really not worried yet. I'll start to get concerned if we get cut adrift. Currently one win still lifts us to 15th and level on points with Liverpool!!
Please definately not 'arry! One tactically clueless manager being replaced with another is not the way forward!
I predict Civil War on the forum, the failure of the Euro and the collapse of the European Union, if we lose on Monday. But I'm not panicking.
