    Evening Toon fans

We are obviously looking dodgy this season and to be honest Hughton is not going down well.

Perhaps Ashely right to sack him?

I thought he would be good for us but his tactics and substitutions are poor.

What do you think as I am losing a little faith in him?

Got better with time at Newcastle and got Birmingham into the play offs after a dreadful start. Though it might be tougher this time with it being the Premier League, rather than the Championship.

To be honest I thought Lambert was right for Norwich.

You should give Hughton a chance.

I've said for a while that I don't think Hughton is strong enough to be a Premiership manager. He got overruled by certain players during his time here, and the same will probably happen at Norwich too.

He's a nice guy, and that seems a rarity in football, but it doesn't make him a good manager.

We have Chelsea and Arsenal next so probably no points from those games. We will be bottom and adrift by 3/4 points unfortunately. That will be 8 games in and setting the scene for the rest of our season I am afraid.

Was Hughton fixed on 442 when with you?

I do seem to remember he insisted on playing Shola with Carroll when we had Guthrie to come in for a 4-5-1 that would have worked better for us

Started off as 4-4-2 in the Championship, with Carroll and Shola up top. Then we reverted to a 4-4-1-1 with Nolan playing off the future 35 million man. Which produced results such as 5-1 of the Mackems, 1-0 wins at Goodison and the Emirates and 6-0 over Villa. Stick with Chris, he's a good'un!

I think a lot of it is down to other teams having figured out your strikers like Holt etc. Last season he was in the form that was putting him in contention for an international call up, has he scored yet this season?

We didn't think Ashley was right to sack CH and we had quite a protest about it. He was doing a good enough job here and was very popular.

I obviously saw you play up here last week but that's all I've got to go on for this season.

How much cash has he got for players? Maybe you need some new blood and he hasn't got the spending power to bring in the players he'd realistically like.

Keep the faith, I'm sure he'll come good for you.

Holt scored today, which was one positive to come out of the debarcle.

They way things are going the game against you to come at CR may be the last against you for a while. Hopefully Hughton can turn it around but not sure he can. We do not have masses of funds and now January looks to be key this season. Who is going to want to come here if we are looking relegation certs!

Just seems a bit second season syndromesque. Do you think things would have been any different with Lambert in charge. He's not exactly set the world alight at Villa

Funny enough I do not feel Lambert would have made any difference. That said we have lost our attacking approach and although we were looking better defensively, since Bassong has been out, we have been poor at the back (dud Sunderland CB).with Bassong, only conceded 2 without, we'll you can see we are now -9. When we play Turner at the back we concede heavily 11 with him from 3 games!

I think CH needs more time TBH.
He'll have you rocking in a bit.

2nd season syndrome rather than Hughton. I looked at you and the change in management was always going to make it tougher too. Lambert had a project in place and a few lads exceeding expectations just going the extra yard for him. It took him time to garner that from them and it'll be likewise for Hughton. Give him time he'll do well for you. With budget restrictions you were always gonna have to scrap and fight this year.

TBH Hughton's tactics were never the sharpest when he was here, and his subs were never usually the ones that were needed.

The main reason he's struggling with Norwich is the fact he is different to Lambert. Lambert controlled everything at the club (from what I hear) whereas Chris is just an excellent coach, not a manager

Chris is not great at tactics and woeful at subs...

BUT... he is a superb person, karma favours the good natured, Chris will have his day.

Carroll and Shola definitely started up front together in the 5-1, Shola scored twice remember.

Hughton won't take Norwich down because what he lacks in ability he will make up for by getting his players to give their all, feel good factor etc, you'll be fine.

No knee jerk reactions mate. Norwich frankly aren't the strongest team in the league and are bound to lose some games. STick with him
