That was the worst, most toothless, heartless, abysmal load of sh#t I have seen in a long time. For all you blinded fools, this is not panic, this is realism. Two positives were that we scored twice but this is extremely little consolation. WE.WERE.USELESS. Turner and Barnett were slow and looked clueless, martin and garrido were out paced and out of position. The whole midfield were bossed from start to finish. Again Jacksons finishing let us down at 1-1. I am thoroughly peed off with how gutless we were! It was a disgraceful performance. OK yes, Liverpool were awesome and completely outclassed us but we put up little to no fight! It was all about composure for me. They showed all the class and composure and we showed non. If it were me as manager they would be hearing me in the Liverpool dressing room such was my disgust. I am truely deflated at just how easily we were turned over today. Absolutely pathetic!
Do you think that you might have had an "off" day, or were Liverpool really that superior that the scoreline suggests?
Come on Welly this is no time to take your boot of their throats! I'm realy enjoying this and I can't wait to watch MOTD tonight and to watch Lawro say how **** they were! Whoton is doing a great job!
It's the first time I've left carrow rd for some time not knowing how the team are going to move on from this. Yes Liverpool we're good but we made them look a whole lot better than they are. If Turner ever pulls a City shirt on again it will be a traversey ! Martin oneil must be laughing his arse off that we paid good money for him. I'm seriously worried that Hougton knows his best team & it's got to be changed big time before we go to the bridge. One word SHOCKING !!
We miss Bassong big time. Without him our defense fell to pieces. At least Holt has started, I still have faith in Hughton and think he will keep us up.
Its no good worrying about the piss taking. They can do it all they like. It won't change anything for them or us. We did look so fragile against a very superior team with a world class striker playing for them. CH certainly looked furious on the touchline. I don't know what instructions he sent them out there with but it didn't work. The team selection puzzled me after the success in midweek. I know many will take this badly, my son was going up the wall. And others will blindly affirm there were positives to take out of the game. All I know is that we are winless, have conceded 13 goals, have a GD of -9 and have more tough games ahead. You would have to be optimistic to expect anything from the next three games. It does look like a long hard road ahead and I can't honestly say I can find too many positive things to say.
Good post but I disagree, I respect it's your opinion but think we can still be positive this season. Last 4 games was filled with positives and yeah we were poor today. I think Holt scoring is a good thing and I think again a couple of tweaks and we can get some wins. Today was always going to be tough because to be fair to Liverpool they have been unlucky all season. I thought he was a astute signing, but I am worried about Michael Turner. Both games he has started we have conceded 5 goals and heard he was at fault for 3 today, not good. I think we'll stay up personally, it was always going to be tougher than last season to be fair. It's something we'll have to wait and see though, you may be right, I may be right.
cant believe Turner starts ahead of Bennett he is not in the same league, also cant believe we let Ayala go on loan to buy him but I will still believe Mr Hewtun will sort it
I completely agree. I hate to say it, I really do, but if I wasn't a Norwich fan I'd put about £50 on us to go down right now. That was bollocks. We mus'n't forget that there are still 32 games left, and plenty of time to turn things around (thank God Holt scored today - what a finish!), but things don't look good. As a final note, why on Earth did Hughton take Jackson off at half-time? Is he frickin' insane? Jacko was easily our best player in the first half and was at the centre of everything! Had he not been on the pitch we wouldn't have done a thing. Absolutely insane. Rant over, City 'Till I Die.
